"Well, I really do think you're pretty. Despite others not. You've just gotta find the right people." Dylan hummed, continuing to do what he had been.
"Well, I really do think you're pretty. Despite others not. You've just gotta find the right people." Dylan hummed, continuing to do what he had been.
"maybe" she said
"You can believe me or not, I think you're pretty." Dylan insisted, dropping the colored markers aside.
"Well I appreciate your opinion" she said
"And I'm glad you do." Dylan hummed, laying back on the floor.
She smiled "Well Dylan I've arrived at the park with buster" she said
"Do you have to go?" Dylan asked her, going to let her if she needed to. "Or were you just informing me?"
" Just informing you" she said
"Oh, alright… gosh, I haven't been to a park in forever…" Dylan mumbled, trying to remember the last time he had gone to one.
She giggled "I'm sure your life can't be easy" she said
He shrugged a bit, willing to disagree with that statement. "Well, it's pretty easy. Just not simple or basic." Dylan hummed, putting out the obvious.
"well I don't know " she said sitting down by the pond
"What do you mean?" Dylan asked he, holding his hand up so he could block the searing sunlight from his eyes.
"oh nothing" she said
"But now it's going to bug me." Dylan pouted, giving up and dropping his arm. "You can't start to say something, and then change your mind."
"I wasn't talking to you" she said
"So you're talking to other people too?" Dylan asked confused.
"My mom" she said
"Oh- if you're with your mom, I can let you go. I'm sorry, I really had no idea." Dylan insisted, starting to pull his phone back.
"No she's…she's not here" she said
"Oh…" Dylan said softly, starting to get what she was meaning. He wouldn't ask, because he knew that could be painful. "Again, I'm sorry… I had no idea."
"It's fine I never got to know her" she said
"Wait- really?" Dylan asked her softly, sitting up. It was odd… they were so similar, yet so different at the same time. "I… I never really knew my mom either."
"oh I'm so sorry I don't mean to bring up any painful thoughts" she said
"No- you're fine. I just… find it odd." Dylan admitted, his voice soft. As long as he didn't think about it, he would be fine.
