(Lol.
Also, wrong name. ;P)
Devon glanced down at her watch. "Oh. Wow, it's around eight o'clock already…"

(Ack sorry, wrong rp lol)
(G’morning!)
He frowned slightly, rubbing his eyes. “In the morning or at night?”
(Lol. It's okay. I do that so many times…
Morning! How're you?)
"Night," Devon answered with a small smile.
(Decently less sick, which is good
You?)
He drew his brows together, leaning back against the wall behind his pillow. “How long have we been here?”
(Better than I was at midnight! I ate way too much food yesterday…)
Devon shrugged and looked around the room, avoiding meeting his eyes. "A few hours… Since I got off of work."
(Big Oof
Honestly tho, isn’t that what Christmas is for?)
Sebastian felt like slapping himself. “I’m sorry— I would have been fine— I’m sorry for calling you. God, I messed up.”

(Lol. Yeah, no kidding.
So we gave my cousin a gift card, and my sister decided to tape it to a brick, wrap the brick, stick it in a box, wrap that, and give it to our cousin. Lol. He liked the brick.)
"What? No, no you're fine. I'm glad you called me. You didn't mess up," Devon assured him, her gaze snapping back to him.
(Oml that made my day)
Devon’s words didn’t stop a heavy blanket of guilt from settling on his shoulders. Sebastian averted his eyes. “Sorry..” he mumbled, rubbing at the bandages over his cut knuckles. “I’m not used to…… asking for help.”
(Lol. He also got a pair of over $200 shoes… That are really ugly… And he wouldn't let anyone touch them. XD It was a fun night.)
Devon nodded slowly, chewing on her lip as she pulled her leg up to her chest again. "I understand how that feels…" she said softly.
(Lmaoo)
Sebastian’s eyes flickered up to meet hers once more, a sort of sympathy softening his almost scared expression. “I’m sorry for… whatever happened.”
(Oh, and he was over-analyzing everything when he was playing Clue with me and my sister. Lol. I won. ;D)
Devon smiled and shook her head. "It's fine. It was a while ago, now. I'm more worried about how you're doing than my past."
(Lol nice)
Sebastian nodded, though he wasn’t convinced. “You don’t need to worry about me, I’m fine..”
"Well… Do you need anything?" Devon asked, changing the topic. "I could go ask a nurse for you."
Sebastian shook his head, a wry smile making its way into his face. “No, thank you. Is there anything you need?”
"No, I'm good. Thanks for asking," Devon said, giving him a small smile. She glanced around the room with a sigh, unsure of what to do now. There wasn't really any reason for her to go home quite yet, since her parents had Lilah, but if he didn't need anything then she didn't really need to stay…
Should we skip?)
(Sure; to when?)
A few days after? Sebastian visits devon at work with a small gift to thank her?
(That would be cute~! Devon doesn't really get gifts, so she might be a little emotional about it.
Do you want me to start this time?)
(Awe
Sure, yeah)
Devon sighed as she started making another customer's drink. They had been very busy for a few hours earlier in the day, and it was just beginning to die down now. She couldn't wait to go on break; she was tired and getting hungry.
Sebastian held the small parcel close to his chest as he pushed open the door of the coffee shop. His eyes searched the counter for Devon, lighting up when they found her, and he did his best to ignore the pounding of his head and heart as he approached.
Devon had just finished up helping a customer when Sebastian walked up. She glanced up from the counter, smiling when she saw him.
"Hey, Sebastian! What can I get you today?" she asked.
Sebastian fidgeted anxiously with his sleeve, sliding the parcel across the counter. “Nothing today, actually. I wanted to thank you for yesterday.. so I got you some chocolates and a gift card.”
