Kyle nodded. "You know I'm not much of a singer, I'm really not good at it. I'm only holding it for him. I'm just going to set it in the corner until he gets back."

Payton sighed and nodded. “It’d be refreshing to hear someone singing that wasn’t Rowan though.” He smirked.

Rowan gasped and turned back to him, looking offended. “I know somewhere in your cold dead heart that you love me, Payton.” He huffed and turning around, receiving a giggle from Payton.

Kyle bit his lip as he looked over the menu. "Okay, I'll get a blueberry muffin and a black coffee." Kyle said to the waiter after Kyle waved him over.

Rowan stood and grabbed his stuff. “I should probably go! But, I’ll see you soon!” He said, hugging Payton and waving as he left the cafe with his coffee.

Payton hugged him back and waved, sitting down next to Kyle and taking his hand. “Any hints at what you’ve been doing all day?” He asked with a smile.

"Besides Tyler giving me his guitar while he's out, the rest is apart of your present." Kyle kissed Payton with a smile.

Payton sighed and rest his head on Kyle’s shoulder. “Let’s go to my house after this. I want to see Lily.” He suggested, kissing Kyle’s cheek.

"I won't be able to stay long though because I need to get your gift ready." Kyle answered.

Payton pouted and stood up. “Let’s go now then!” He suggested hopefully.

"But I haven't gotten my food yet and I just ordered!" Kyle pulled Payton down back to the seat.

“Then we’ll leave when you get your food!” Payton grinned excitedly, taking a deep breath and laying his head on the table. “I’ll calm down.”

"Yeah…why are you so excited?" Kyle laughed taking a sip of his coffee that they brought earlier.

"I don't know..It's been a good day." He replied with a soft smile, gazing down at the table and brushing a few crumbs around with his finger.

“Why is that?” Kyle places his coffee down and rest a hand on his cheek.

Payton just shrugged and glanced up at him, his smile growing a little at the touch. "I'm just happy, that's all." He said quietly, looking back down at the table.

"Alright," Kyle kissed his forehead. and smiled as the food came. "Do you want me to take it to go or is it alright if I eat here?"

"You can eat it here if you want." Payton replied, sitting up and sipping his coffee happily, looking around the cafe.

"Why are you so eager to get home?" Kyle laughed. "Enjoy the moment with your boyfriend.

"I am enjoying it." Payton replied, his natural smile faltering a bit. He set his chin in his arms on the table, still looking fairly cheerful.

"If you say so." Kyle took a bit of his muffin. "Want some?"

"Sure." Payton took a little chunk of the muffin and ate it, giving Kyle a kiss on the cheek in return. "Thanks~" He giggled, laying his head back down once he was finished chewing. "This day has gone by really fast, hasn't it?"

"Only because I wasn't with you to kiss and hug you and make everything go slower." Kyle smiled and he bit the top of the muffin off. "We should come here more often."

"Yeah the stuffs good here. It's weird not seeing Rowan here. You had a good day though, right?" Payton asked, glanced towards him.

"Of course! Though I did miss you a lot. I was thinking about you all day." Kyle took another bite before drinking his coffee.

"How did you get anything done if you were thinking about me?" Payton giggled.
