(Sounds good, we aren’t doing much rn-)
(Alright then-)
(Whatever y’all wanna do I’m down)
Tommahud:
Tommad felt the wind brushing against his face and sweeping through his hair. At least the glide to the ruins was good fun. He banked sharply, aiming for the least crowded part of what used to be the Oldest City. He rolled into a steep nosedive, plummeting, and at the last moment he swung upwards, killing his speed. It wasn't his best landing, but the glider stayed intact this time! He got to his feet, folding his glider, and immediately took note of… Cascove-folk? Here?! He ducked into the growing crowd. This was bad.
Micalen:
There weren't many Cascove-folk just yet, but there were enough to draw some attention. They all seemed to be high-ranking, but that was just a guess based on the emblems they wore. Was this meeting really worth breaking a fifty-year silence for? There just had to be something else there… but what? Mica shook his head, turning his attention towards the remains of the First Castle. That'd be where the Kingdom leaders would speak, and he wanted a half-decent seat.
(I love How everyone is OH NO CASCOVE and Cascove is like Hello? Whats happening? Why Are we being looked at?)
(Ahhhh I’m at a baseball game, reply when I can)
(Autism is just like “ew people- gasp is that possible mistreatment I must aggressively stare at these two at once”)
(Hey, you go into hiding for fifty years, people are going to look at you funny when you come out, lol-)
(Nicholas already accepted it. His logic is "If they think of us as dangerous and mysterious, we might as well be")
Hazel:
Hazel waited with Willow until their father caught up with them. She passed Willow to their father and went to look around. So many people…
She wasn’t sure what to make of all the different kingdom representatives. No matter, she thought. Father let me come. I will not waste this opportunity.
Amethyst:
Amethyst’s father led her into the growing crowd, his grip on her wrist tightening. Amethyst winced. She thought he might break her wrist if they weren’t surrounded by people. She glanced around. Why did Cascove show up? Haven’t they been hiding? She looked at the ground again and kept up with her father’s pace.
Resh:
Resh stayed away from the crowd, instead stalking on the edges. He got some strange looks his way, but he didn’t care. He hated crowds, and he’d rather die than get stuck in the middle of one. He watched the teenage girl and her father enter the crowd. It looks like he’s about to break her wrist.
(Oop-)
(Welcome back to the land of the living)
(barely but thanks)
Nicholas watched as many people headed for the castle. He shrugged and walked with the rest of the people. He noticed that people were keeping distance from him and at this point he was a bit agitated. Yes, Cascove had been gone for 50 years but in that time they had grown. In power and Knowledge. When Nicholas entered the Castle, he hadn't headed for the seats but headed for the front where most of the officials Of the kingdoms were. His Step father was there and he wanted to say hello. After all, Nicholas hadn't seen him in quite a while. The buzz of people was getting to Nicholas' head. It was giving his a bad headache. He decided to turn back and find a seat. He opted for a seat farther back, where there was a cluster of empty seats.
(Try to make a longer response to make up for missing the last one, lol)
Tseth:
The hike from Marbrick was over. He had arrived in the ruins of the Oldest City. He looked around, taking in the surroundings and the people from different kingdoms. He’d have to be more careful today. Many people already, and they were just coming in. Maybe he’ll meet some people who weren’t completely insufferable. Though, not many outside of Marbrick shared the same ideals. And especially not the same ones from his line of work. He pulled up his mask and made his way through the crowd, hoping to find a good vantage point away from the growing masses. He didn’t want to be anywhere near the crowd, but everyone had been called to the Oldest City for more than pleasantries, and he intended to stick around to find out why. If this ended up being about the Greatblaze though…
He found a good-enough spot to watch the growing crowd. His attention was mainly focused on picking out the higher-ranking individuals of the four kingdoms, and anyone who might be a threat. Those from Cascove—and his own kingdom—were higher on his list than others. Terraglade and Austream were little to be cautious of, with a few exceptions. Just because they come from kingdoms less interested in violence and secrecy doesn’t mean individuals are any less dangerous.
(very excited for all the characters to meet, anywho-)
(same lol- idk how my character will meet anyoneeee it's big brain time)
(Gabs told me about this so I have now come to quietly cheer on the RP
Please continue :3 )
(Forgot it was my turn- I now see why rational people try to limit the amount of rps they're in.)
(But I'm going to keep going anyways 😎)
(Oh hi Minion lol)
Tommahud:
He was practically swimming through the swarms. His folded-up glider bumped a few people, he was aware, but he didn't care about that. He needed to get as far away from the Cascove-folk as he could. Now.
Where did they even come from?! They didn't have a mainbridge like Terraglade, a hiking path like Marbrick, or even any gliders. And yet there were so many here. He caught an extra mean-looking Cascove-folk stalking the edges of the crowd, and Tommad immediately turned the opposite direction. He zig-zagged through the commotion until he finally found an empty spot. Finally…
Uh, where was he?
Micalen:
He took a deep breath. He knew this was going to happen, but it was still nerve-racking. The extra Cascove-folk threw off Mica's estimations – he'd never seen so many people in one place before.
The perfect opportunity for thieves to pick a pocket or two. He clutched his rank-emblem tighter at the thought. Sure, sure, it was merely a peasant bronze, but if any thief wanted to take it, they'd have to pry it from his dead body.
Temper, temper. Watch yourself. It's the soldier silvers who should be on their guard.
He relaxed his grip, settling in his spot. It was just a patch of stone on the ground, really, but the sun kept it warm, and the winds were fair.
Hazel:
She had completely lost track of her father and sister, but she knew that Willow would be fine. Hazel wove through the crowd, looking for some room to wait. Preferably somewhere around the other kingdoms…
She excitedly found a free space as close to the front as she could. This will do, she thought.
Looking at the crowd around her, she realized that she'd found herself mostly surrounded by people from Austream; she may not know much about the other kingdoms but she'd seen those distinctive gliders before.
She hummed to herself and fidgeted with her sleeve, trying to decide if this spot was worth staying in or if she should move somewhere else.
