(I’m excited for Resh to be spoken to for the first time in like, years probably and be so utterly confused)

(Had a few issues, but I'm back in business! Will get the starter up ASAP. As for turn order, I guess me first and then order of the character sheets is fine? M isn't on as much, and I don't want them getting left behind.)

(On the 50th anniversary of the Greatblaze, the Kingdoms celebrate… with a negotiation conference. The Kingdoms' leaders and a few early-risers are already at the meeting place: the ruins of the Oldest City. Terraglade-folk arrive via the new mainbridge between their Kingdom and the ruins, and Austream-folk drift over on their gliders. Marbrick-folk simply hike from their Kingdom, and Cascove-folk just seem to… appear.)

Tommahud:
The sun parted the clouds in the sky, warming the ruins of the Oldest City. It was… eerily similar to how the Greatblaze had been described to Tommad – before the whole "blaze" part, at least. He was trailing behind his family, dragging his feet. Negotiations were always BOR-RING. He grumbled to himself as they neared the cliffs. They'd be at the ruins in just a heartbeat.

Micalen:
There was an almost calming air around the ruins. Mica sighed, knowing it wouldn't last long. He'd come as early as he could, and there were already a few folks from the other Kingdoms milling about. He took note of the various outfits and emblems, trying to discern which Kingdoms had come. Marbrick, Austream, Terraglade… Cascove..? Really?
Maybe this negotiation meeting would be more interesting than Mica had thought…

Hazel:
Willow sprinted ahead, racing Hazel to the mainbridge. Hazel groaned but ran after her sister. "Willow, Father told you to wait," she called after her.
Willow turned and stuck her tongue out, laughing.
Hazel rolled her eyes and smiled. Willow had been wanting to go to the ruins for years, so it was no wonder she was so excited. Hazel was excited too; finally seeing the great ruins made her feel closer to her mother.
Maybe the negotiations would turn up some new information. Maybe she could finally get some answers for her family. And herself.

Amethyst:
Amethyst’s father held a tight grip on her wrist as they walked across the bridge. His grip hurt, but Amethyst wouldn’t dare complain. Amethyst looked down, walking at the same pace as her father. She knew the consequences of trying to go ahead. She’d learned it years ago. She started to lag behind a little, lost in her thoughts.
Her father tugged Amethyst forward, causing her to stumble a bit. “Hurry up,” he said in a harsh voice.
Amethyst nodded and quickened her pace. “Sorry, father…”

Resh:
He stood away from most of the people there, as usual. He didn’t bother anyone, and no one bothered him. He’d just appeared, like the rest of the Cascove residents. The hood of his cloak was pulled over his head, obscuring most of his face. He stared at everybody, his vibrant orange eyes flicking over the small group. He stopped to look at a pair of people from Terraglade; father and daughter, it seemed like. The girl looked about in her teens. The father seemed agitated at her. Resh narrowed his eyes, staring at the two of them.

(Resh’s father instincts already going weeee-)

Nicholas' day was already bad but going to the Nations meeting wasn't making it any better. The constant murmurer of the crowd was annoying. This was very interesting. The nation's people were… talking to each other like the split never happened. Cascove's people were known for their eeriness. There were bags under his eyes; he hadn't slept well in the past few days. What can you say? A man like Nicholas was always working. Working on what? Nicholas himself didn't know. But what he truly didn't know is who he'd meet today.
