He looked over at her and sighed, "It hurts, ok? Everything hurts. It feels like I'm being stabbed all over and I know the feeling won't go away for awhile. Physical contact with things hurts and it's taking all of my focus just to make myself solid enough to sit on this couch, ok?" He looked into her eyes and then quickly glanced at the floor, "There's nothing anyone can do to help me, my stupid body has to fix it's stupid self."
Jami grabbed his chin softly and made him look at her. She took his hand and looked into his eyes. "Do you trust me Seb? Like, really trust me?"
He winced when his hand touched his face and again when she took his hand, "I trust you with my life." He said softly, meeting her eyes for a moment before looking away again.
Jami knew what her magic could do, and she knew that it could fix Sebastian. She leaned in and kissed him.
His lips were on fire, both from her contact and the fact that she was kissing him again. He didn't protest or pull away in pain but he was still in quite a lot of pain from the contact.
Jami pulsed soothing magic through her lips into Seb's body. That was the first step.
Suddenly the pain in his lips started disappearing, the cool sensation slowly spreading through his face and making its way towards his neck. He gasped in surprise and groaned happily at the same time, a small smile allearing on his face as her magic started working.
Then she pulsed healing magic through. That was the next stage.
He hummed softly into her lips, the stabbing pain continuing to disappear from his body as the magic did its job.
As Jami broke away, her eyes were glowing a soft scarlet. Then it died away as her magic stopped.
he sighed in relief, sinking into the couch and laying his head back, "Thank you." He said softly, looking over at her.
Jami sat back down on the floor. "I can do stuff with my magic. I knew that I wanted to help you, so I did."
"Whatever you did, it was amazing." He smiled and looked into her eyes, "Now you're just going to have to stop getting me worried for you and you won't have to heal me."
Jami smiled thinly. "I can't do that, Seb. No matter what, you'll always find a way to worry about me."
He pretended to be disappointed, but he knew that every word she said was true. "I can't stop worrying about you Jami, I care too much for you."
"I know, but that's the good thing about you. You care so much about people, even if it ends up in you getting hurt."
"Sometimes I hate that I care so much.." He mumbled, "It can control my life and I'm not able to think about anything but what's wrong and thinking about how I could theoretically fix it.."
Jami smiled softly. "But Seb, if you didn't care so much, I never would have liked you. My life is better with you in it, but I probably would have left you years ago."
He smiled softly, "I guess caring to much has it's benefits, I got to meet you and become friends, and now look where we are."
She kissed him. "We're a happy couple that doesn't want anything to change. Because it's already perfect the way it is."
"That's true." He said against her lips, leaning into her kiss softly.
Jami smiled. "Even though we could be happier."
He smiled softly, "There are some things that would make me even happier, but I would refuse everything if I couldn't be with you."
"That's not what I'm talking about Seb," Jami replied, her eyes trying to say it.
"Oh..OH.." He realized what she was talking about and he felt his face heat up from embarrassment, "Don't mind my stupidness.."
