Felix thoughts were racing just as fast as his motorbike was. How could he and Alex possibly be soulmates? They had known each other forever. He had never felt any attraction towards him.
Okay, maybe once. When Alex got that new haircut. But that was years ago.
He didn't even see the animal on the road in time to stop. He lost control over the bike and it started spinning.
CRASH.
(NOOO)
Alex moaned again. His mother walked into the room, sitting down next to him.
"The movie to much sweetie?" She asked. Alex looked up at her, his patch showing.
"No mom…" She gasped quietly.
"Who-" she stopped. "Felix?" She asked. Alex nodded. He scooted over, and his mother put her an around him.
"He was so upset when he found out," Alex mumbled. His mother rubbed his back quietly.
"And you?" She and in return.
"I don't know…" He moaned again, curling up next to her like he used to when he was younger.
Felix felt like his head was spinning, not his mind this time. He was on the ground, the bike had spun around at least five times before finally stopping. He could feel his head bleeding and his right leg was crushed under the bike. He felt dizzy and felt his mind starting to fade away. His sight too. But even though he for what he knew could be dying right now, only one thing was on his mind.
Alex.
Alex grew fretful.
"I shouldn't have let him leave like that. Do you think-?" His mother chuckled.
"I'll go get the keys," she said. Alex nodded, hugging the pillow. He wanted to talk to Felix about what had happened. They shouldn't have left off the way they did. His mother stepped away, grabbing her keys.
"Let's go get your soul mate," she said, holding the door open.
Felix fought to keep his eyes open. His breath was heavy and he could see the warm blood from his head dripping down in front of him. Keep calm. It always bleeds more from the head. It's probably not as bad as it looks, he reminded himself. Hopefully a car will stop and… and… He started dozing off.
Alex and his mother climbed into her car.
"Mom, what if he- what if he doesn't want to talk to me?" He was frightened by the thought.
"Sweety, you've been friends for years. This isn't going to change that." She started the car, pulling out. They drive in silence, until-
"Mom!" Alex shrieked. Further down the road, he spotted Felix's crash.
(Um… Felix is more or less passed out so I don't think he can respond really)
(Okay.)
Alex's mom screeched to a halt. Alex leapt out of the car, running to Felix. His mother called for an ambulance. Alex kneeled next to Felix.
Felix had almost passed out when he saw a shimmery silver hair above him. "Are you an angel?" He murmured, voice fading of a bit. "If I'm dead, why does it still… hurt… so much."
"Felix, pleasepleaseplease don't die…" Alex put his hand on Felix's head gently. The sound of sirens could be heard in the distance.
"I can't promise anything." A small laugh before he passed out completely. Everything went black.
Alex stayed with Felix until the ambulance arrived. When the paramedics showed up, a Alex's mother gently pulled him away.
"We'll meet then at the hospital, okay sweetie?" She said, leading him gently to their car. Alex didn't say anything, watching Felix getting loaded into the ambulance.
(May I add a twist plot?)
As Felix woke up at the hospital he felt… like shit, actually. His head was pounding like crazy. He couldn't remember exactly what had happened… some kind of accident, he thought. He blinked, looking out over the bright hospital room.
Alex sat next to Felix, head in his hands. He looked asleep.
Felix tried to get up one one elbow, but his head immediatly started to hurt like hell. "Ouch…" he whined in a weak voice.
Alex's head shot up.
"Felix, oh thank god you're awake." He pulled his chair closer.
"How do you feel?"
"Not very good." Felix made a grimace. He held up his right hand, the entire thing was bandaged. He then looked over at Alex and saw the colorful mark. "Hey, did you find your soulmate while I was passed out? Lucky you! Who is it?"
(Plot twist: he doesn't remember a thing mohahaha)
(evil laughter in the distance)
Alex was caught off guard.
"I- you don't remember?" A little ball of lead started to form in Alex's stomach.
(Clapping wonderful. This should be fun. joins laughing.)
"What am I supposed to remember?" Felix wrinkled his forehead.
