@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Okalee dokalee neighbor)

A sigh came from the speaker. 'Fine.'

"Thanks a lot. See you tomorrow?"

'Yeah. Bye.'

A beep ended the call and a rush was sent through him. I can fix this.

A knock came at the door, and Lyric groaned. I forgot Cameron was coming over to study. She walked to the door and opened it, Cameron walking in like he owned the place.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Oh, snaappleeee)

Axl began to run back up the steep hill, careful of the snow. He could do this. He rushed as fast as he could to his car and opened it. Hopping in, he put the keys in and turned them. He could do this. The door slammed shut and he was off.

Cameron looked at Lyric and immediately noticed her tear stained face.
"What happened?" He demanded.
"Nothing. It doesn't involve you."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

I can do this.

Axl drove into the parking lot of a flower shop, practically slamming on the breaks and jumping out of the car. The door strung above the door jingled as he walked in.

"Hello, and welcome to-"

I can do this.

"I need a dozen roses pre-ordered for tomorrow."

He walked back out five minutes later headed to his next stop.

"Did someone hurt you?" Cameron pressed.
"Stop," Lyric said.
"Tell me."
"Just stop it."
"Come on Lyric."
"OK, fine! We broke up! He proposed, I told him I was pregnant and he freaked! So now we're over!"

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

He parked in a parking lot outside a the main shopping center. He reached into his pocket and took out his phone.

"Jonas, buddy, I need a favor."
~~
'It's fine, consider it done.'

"Thanks, man. See you tomorrow."

He put his phone away and got out. I can do this.

Cameron pulled Lyric into a hug as she burst into tears again. He had been tall since age 13, and now at age 16 he was the height of an average 20 year old male. And since Lyric was slightly short, his chin rested on the top of her head.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Everything he knew of was set up. Except for one thing. This was going to be the hardest thing to do. He had to somehow get Lyric to the park tomorrow at the right time.

Cameron.

There was a risk, but if he had any chance of getting Lyric back, he'd take it. He stood outside his car and leaned back, the phone ringing.

Please pick up, Cameron.

As Cameron let Lyric cry into his chest, his phone started ringing. Daft Punk by Pentatonix started playing from his back pocket. With his part time job as a photographer, he had to take every call seriously. He pried Lyric away from him to walk upstairs and answer the call. "What do you want?" He answered after seeing it was Axl, his voice clearing showing annoyance.

"And why should I help you?" Cameron spat. "Lyric's heartbroken, Axl. She's eating chocolate ice cream and watching The Greatest Showman."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Crap.

"That's the thing: you don't have a reason to. I hurt her and I hate myself for it and you have every reason to too." He paused for a moment. "But I just. I want to fix this, Cameron. I really do. I love her a whole lot, and gosh I had the best plans for a wedding before I went and screwed up bad and I said some stuff I shouldn't have and I was stupid and confused." He could hear Cameron's breathing through the phone. "But I want to fix it. Gosh dang it, Cameron, I want to fix it."

"You were her everything for six years Axl. Six. Fucking. Years. Then she tells you she's pregnant and suddenly it's over?!" Cameron was angry. Even though Lyric was 7 years older than him, he protected her like an older brother. "At least it yours, Axl."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

He was silent for a moment. His voice was quiet, barely audible. "I didn't want it to end. I wasn't angry about the kid, Cameron. I've always wanted one." His voice began to raise. "I know I overreacted and that I'm a big screw up and that I don't deserve her, but if I have one chance to fix it, I will!"

Deleted user

Cameron let out an audible sigh of frustration and resignation. "Fine. I'm only going to do this because I care about Lyric and she's lost without you. But if you break her heart again, you're dead to this family."

Deleted user

"Fine. Bye." Cameron hung up. He then sat of the edge of his bed - he often stayed in the spare bedroom of the apartment - with his head in his hands.

(You can time skip to the park)

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Okalee dokalee neighbor, also I'm going to change it to the evening just for asthetics, sorry, didn't think about that)

It was almost two. Everything was set up. Just off in the distance was his friend holding a violin. The twinkle lights of the arch lit up the dark in attempt to mimick the stars above. He would have been wearing a tuxedo. If only the place ye was going to rent from hadn't been out. Instead, he wore a simple t-shirt with a coat over top. He wore a maroon beanie to keep his ears warm. The roses in his hands. Box in his pocket.

All that was left was for her to show.

Deleted user

"Cameron," Lyric said. "I told you. I don't feel like going to the park."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

It was still cold out. The weather had said it might snow, but he didn't bother to stop this. He needed to fix this more than anything. He just hoped she would show soon. Maybe Cameron changed his mind…

Deleted user

"Come on, Lyric. You'll the enjoy it."
"There's only one reason I would be at the park and it's if the cast of The Greatest Showman was there. And why did you blindfold me?"

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

A voice came from a distance. "I have to go soon. I thought this would be quicker."

"Just give me a little."

"My violin is gonna be out of time."

"Please, just a few.more minutes. I'm sure she's just late."

Deleted user

Cameron and Lyric rounded the corner, Lyric clearly blindfolded.
