She smiled. "Suzy and Sun missed you" She said as she looked over and Sundrop was running by leaps and bounds over to greet him

Mason smiles. “I missed them too…” he rasps.

"MASOOOON" Sun cheered as he finally reached them. He held out his arms, unsure if Mason would want a hug

Mason chuckles and weakly hugs sun. “Good to see ya, bud.”

Sun hugs him back, but tries not to hurt him
Jasper smiled. "Mason do you remember Jace?" she asked, looking around for her friend. She was always making mental notes of Jace's location

Mason nods weakly. “Yeah…how are they?” He sits down, coughing.

"Good. She's here actually. I think she's doing arts and crafts with the kids" Jasper said, spotting her at a table surrounded by kids no more than 6

Mason smiles, “Aww…” he keeps coughing, covering his mouth.

"You should sit down" Jasper said, worry laced in her voice

Asani muttered something to sun, who promptly picked Mason up gently, holding him in a comfortable stilling position.

“I am.” He laughs softly, then goes right back to coughing. He then yelped slightly as sun picked him up. “Uh-“

Asani smiled. "We're here to help! You need rest to get better, so no more standing, okay?"

He laughs softly. “Guys- I gotta do my job-“

"Nuh-uh. Your job is to get better." Asani said firmly.

Mason gives her a look. “No. My job is to look after everything.”

Asani gave him a look right back. "How are you supposed to do that if you're too sick?"

He sighs. “I’ve been doing it for years, kiddo.”

Sun frowns. “Years?”

Mason nods. “Yup. Before you, bud.” He pats Sun’s shoulder. “Now- could you let me down?”

“Absolutely not! You’re much too important right now!”

Mason sighs. “They- programmed you to be too nice-“

Asani smiled again. "Sun is on my side here. You need to get better before you get back to work. I'll pay your hospital fees. A lot of people want to help you, you're the best employee here!"

Mason laughs. “Kiddo- no. I don’t want you bringing any money to me. Understand?”

"I second Asani" Jasper said "Chill out for a bit. I got you. It's been a while anyway" She said smiling

Mason sighs, then starts coughing. He covers his mouth with a rag and quickly hides it.

"See. Relax and let us help" Jasper said, trying not to be annoying

Mason rubs his forehead, then swats at sun when he reached for the cloth.

“Somethings wrong…my sensors are going off.”

Mason paused. “Maybe a malfunction-“

Asani frowned. "No, I feel it too. Mason.."

Mason sighs heavily, “Guys- I’m fine-“
