Gabe led Alex out onto the streets. He was quicker than normal, getting Alex off of the less reputable streets as fast as possible. When they got to the main roads, they weren't overly crowded, but there were still people on them.
Alex stayed near Gabe, but let go of his hand, since he knew they couldn't be seen holding hands.
Gabe kept very close, watching the people around them. Still, he was calm. He could keep Alex safe. He was slightly in front of Alex, but he was mostly just right by Alex's side.
Alex stuck near Gabe, looking around a little bit as they walked.
The street lamps had been lit already, casting a soft for on the streets. They weren't the cleanest, and people were trying to sell things in makeshift stalls still, but there weren't many actual people about.
Gabe glanced back at Alex, giving him a soft smile.
Alex smiled back just a little bit, tucking back a strand of messy brown hair.
(should we do the scene with Henry now, or later?)
(I was thinking either now, or when they went to the park. And Gabe is totally gonna tell Alex to still kill Henry to cover up what happened because he will not let Alex got to prison or back to an asylum)
Gabe let out a soft hum, keeping close to Alex.
(Alright! D: Good)
Alex smiled up at him again, seeming far more calm than he had just days ago.
(If Alex isn't able to handle it or is in shock, Gabe will 100% yell at him)
Gabe let Alex mostly decide where they walked, only steering him away whenever they were heading towards a more dangerous area.
(Henry like "why are you trying to kill me?". Alex, knowing full well that it will make him sound insane, "A ghost told me to")
Alex just kind of wandered, not really paying much attention to where they were going.
(Gabe, the ghost, being basically a cheerleader: kill him! You can do it!)
Gabe saw they had slipped into some shadows, taking a mint to reach out and give Alex's have a gentle squeeze before letting go as they came back into the light.
(lmaoo yup)
Alex blinked in surprise, shooting him a soft smile as they came into the light.
Gabe smiled as well, keeping close. Anything to show Alex some affection here without it being suspicious.
Alex looked up at him for a moment, then looked away again, looking down the street.
Gabe hummed very softly, looking at Alex a moment.
"Do you want to get something sweet to eat? I have a little money to spare." He really didn't, but he wanted to spoil Alex.
Alex looked up at him again. "Oh– only if you're sure." he replied quietly, knowing that Gabe didn't really have all that much.
"I'm sure." Gabe made his way over to some of the smaller shops and vendors.
"Is there anything in particular you like? Or do you want to try something new?"
Alex shrugged a little bit. "I don't really have a preference." he replied quietly.
"Alright then." Gabe gave a soft smile, leading Alex to one of his favorite places. He smiled a little.
Alex walked with Gabe quietly, smiling softly as they walked.
Gabe smiled a little as well.
"How do you feel about cherries? This place, it has amazing chocolate cherries, and the centers are liquid."
Alex blinked. "Oh, those sound yummy." He agreed with a smile, looking up at Gabe.
"Good!" Gabe led Alex into the shop. He bought two, all be could afford. He offered one to Alex.
Alex took one with a smile. "Thank you." He said, looking up at Gabe and wishing he could kiss him.
Gabe led Alex out of the shop, into one of the darker corners. No one could see them here. He kissed Alex lightly.
