Alex smiled, squeezing Gabe's hand softly.
Alex smiled, squeezing Gabe's hand softly.
Gabe hugged Alex, nodding once.
"So, let's gather all the materials we have here first, and then we'll see what all we'll need to buy."
Alex nodded a little. "I'll figure ouut what we have in the bag, okay?"
"Okay with me!" Gabe kissed Alex's cheek, then pulled away to go start gathering supplies.
Alex smiled, and started pulling things out of the bag, putting them in neat piles.
Gabe walked through the area, finding the resources he could collect at the time.
Alex kept working on organizing everything.
Gabe finally walked back, carrying the wood he could manage to gather.
"We'll need an axe for sure," the man said. "There are a few good-sized trees, thankfully, but it isn't much."
He nodded slightly. "Okay. We have a few tools, but not a lot, so we'll need to find some way to make money so that we can buy more supplies."
"Right. So, you'll make pictures… I'll try to find some labor in town. Perhaps someone needs a farmhand." Gabe would be able to handle the strain on his body.
He nodded again. "Yeah." he said, smiling a little.
"So, we can make this work!" Gabe let out a soft breath, smiling.
"We can." he agreed, kissing Gabe's cheek.
Gabe leaned into the kiss, giving his own in turn.
"We'll have a better life."
"We will." he leaned into Gabe happily.
Gabe hugged Alex, resting his head on the man's.
Alex leaned into Gabe, closing his eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too." Gabe smiled, wrapping his arms around Alex.
Alex smiled happily, hair falling around his shoulders.
Gabe kissed Alex's cheek, brushing his hair back with a gentle touch.
"So, shall we get into town?"
Alex nodded slightly. "Yeah, sounds like a good idea. Let's put the bag in the shelter, though."
"Right. We don't need anyone snatching it." Gabe hummed, moving to do as Alex had mentioned.
He nodded a little, watching Gabe quietly.
Gabe finished up, then stood up again.
"Shall we get going then?"
"Yeah." He said with a soft smile.
