Alex continued to sleep, curled up in a little ball on the seat.
Alex continued to sleep, curled up in a little ball on the seat.
Gabe gently rested his hand on Alex's head.
"Why us..?" He wondered out loud, voice hushed so Alex wouldn't hear him.
Alex shifted faintly, but didn't wake up.
Gabe eventually laid down, his arms around Alex.
(timeskip?)
Alex kept sleeping.
(Yeee. to when?)
(hhhhh idk lmao)
(hnnnnnnnnnnnn we need drama, how do we make drama for these two)
(uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we could just skip to when they've arrived and then have Alx or Gabe hear rumors about someone who can bring back the dead??)
(aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaokie)
Gabe had his arms around Alex, looking around a bit. It'd been a long trip, but it was over now.
(lol)
Alex waited as the train pulled into the station at long last, picking up his bag.
Gabe kissed Alex's cheek lightly. He picked the horn up like before, holding it for Alex.
Alex swallowed faintly as they started walking.
Gabe stayed close to Alex, looking around once.
"It's almost over," he said softly. Soon, they'd be able to retreat to their own homestead, and Alex could live out the rest of his days in solitude.
Alex nodded faintly, climbing down off of the train and looking around. The town seemed rough and unfinished, in comparison to the cities he was used to. But it was safer here, at least.
Gabe kept his eyes on the people around them, listening carefully. He kept close, one hand on Alex's shoulder.
Alex swallowed softly. He headed towards a hotel, since he needed a place to stay for the night. He checked in as quickly as possible, handing over the money to pay for a room, and headed towards the one he had been given.
Gabe stuck close, ears and eyes peeled.
"Damn witch…" he heard on man said. "Not holy…" But before he could hear another word, they were in the room. Gabe set the bell down, hugging Alex lightly.
"We're almost there," he said softly.
Alex leaned into Gabe's arms, wrapping his arms around the other man's waist. "I'm sorry." He whispered.
"It's okay," Gabe said softly. He ran his fingers through Alex's hair, humming softly.
(not gonna be too active tonight sorry)
Alex let out a faint breath. "I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too," Gabe murmured softly. He hugged Alex again.
Alex kissed his cheek softly, taking a deep breath.
Alex kissed his cheek softly, taking a deep breath.
Gabe kissed Alex's head in turn.
"We'll be alone, soon," he said softly. "You won't have to… To ever be hurt again."
