The map starts to change before Resh’s eyes. The glowing points on the map swirl and reform to make a map of the snowy mountain realm in particular. There are more landmarks and paths visible now, including a bordered area that cuts through the realm to the Wasteland border marked “Abandoned zone.”

Resh tilts his head as he watches the map change. He stares at it for a few moments longer. “‘Abandoned zone..?’ What does that mean?” He asks no one in particular. Oh, wait- I’m an idiot.

Teth narrows her eyes. “What? Let me see that.” She reaches up and takes the map from Resh’s hands, squinting. “That’s weird. Wasn’t it different earlier?”

Resh looks down at Teth, slightly annoyed. He sighs and shrugs. “I wouldn’t question it. A literal deity gave me this map, of course it’s gonna have some magicky bullshit involved. Now give that back-“ He snatches the map back from Teth and puts it away. He’ll have to figure that out later.

The buildings have started to change as they move further into the city. There are larger houses, and maybe even a few small shops among them. It’s difficult to tell, some of the signs are written in a different language.
A few people pass them along the street, paying little attention to them.

(intense vibrating)

Resh glances around for a moment, gripping the hilt of his sword a little tighter. He feels really uneasy, although he himself isn’t very sure why. The trio generally stays out of the way of people.

Teth lowers her hood and looks around, seeming like she’s in a better mood overall, other than her constant resting bitch face.

Some of the passersby go out of their way to avoid the trio, mainly due to the very large and very pissed looking wolf in front of them.

Up ahead, the main path opens up to a large area. The snow is fairly cleaned up, showing the bricked path underneath.

Resh pulls out the map again and continues to stare at it, completely silent this time. He tilts his head slightly to one side, and he doesn’t really seem to notice he’s doing it.

The wolf looks around for a moment before disappearing through the side-streets. The number of people around is slowly increasing, and it looks like there’s quite a few in the open area just up ahead. Not enough that you can’t walk through, however.

(hmmm)
(Ok I’ll shut up)

Resh glances up as the wolf disappears, blinking a few times. He shrugs it off and puts the map away, then grips the hilt of his sword again, being sure to keep his cloak over it so it doesn’t draw too much attention.
