"So! What do you want to do?" I ask as we walk towards a bench.
"I don't really know what I want to do, honestly," Shibuya says as she follows the other towards the bench. "We just randomly decided to come here. I don't mind what we do. We're spending time together, and that's nice."
Yet again I feel my face flush as Shibuya says this. "Y-yeah, I agree." I let out a small and quiet giggle.
Shibuya couldn't help but smile. "Well, we can do basically whatever. I don't mind. As I said, it's already nice that we're spending time together. I wouldn't mind what we do, honestly."
"W-why don't we just sit here for a while.."
"Yeah, we can do that. I'd enjoy that, honestly. I enjoy talking to you, and today's been a really good day so far. I'm really glad that I met you earlier."
"I'm glad I met you too.." I softly say, the blush growing deeper in color.
"You're such a nice person, and you have such nice friends. Not to mention you didn't tell me to leave and actually talked to me when I sat down. I know the place was crowded, but still."
"I wouldn't turn someone away unless they were wearing a pin saying 'I hate trans people'" Another giggle escapes my lips.
"I would probably not talk to them, either. I guess I don't usually talk to people before they talk to me, but that's not the point… I don't understand why people hate people for being different… Besides…it's not like it's a choice. It's just how someone feels about themselves. I hate people who thinks others do this sort of thing for attention or to be 'different'…"
"Yeah, you said you wanted to see my sketchbook right?" I pick up the sketchbook lain beside me, placing it on my lap.
"Yeah, I'd love to see your sketchbook. It'd be nice to see some of the things that you draw. I'm sure they'll look great!" She smiled, knowing that she'd love whatever is in the sketchbook.
(hold on a sec I gotta upload the images)
(That's fine! Take your time!)
I open up my sketchbook to show a page covered in drawings of eyes and faces and hand it to Shibuya (https://ibb.co/xGZ5N2S) "This is all I have but uh, I'm pretty proud of some of these.."
(Nice!!)
"Oh, my goodness!" she replies, smiling. "These are some amazing drawings! Better than the ones I have, that's for sure… I can guarantee you my art is definitely not all that good, but I could always show you if you want me to."
"I'd love to see your art! Do you have any pictures or anything on you?"
(you don't have to send pictures if you dont want)
(I was actually writing it as an excuse to.)
"Oh, I don't, but I don't live too far from here. Actually, I can probably walk to my house, get my sketchbook, and be back here in less than three minutes. Hold on." She got up and did just that, being truthful about the time and everything. "Here's that." She handed them her sketchbook. (Admin's Art Yes, I have a character page for this so I can actually get the uploading on the art sharing forum to work)
"I like!" I say as I flip through the first few pages.
"Well…I'm glad you like it. I wasn't really expecting that reaction…but I guess not a lot of people really liked my art…so that might be a part of it…"
"Of course I like it!" A beaming smile spreads across my face.
"Thanks. It was a lot fun to draw, honestly. I'm really glad you like it, by the way. It's nice to know that someone actually likes my art."
"Why wouldn't I love your art?" I say smiling kindly.
(I lowkey thought you forgot about this.)
"Well, no one else cared. Classmates? Why would I ever show homophobes gay art? They'd just think I'm crazy. Actually, it's one of the reasons my now ex-friends left me, but that's not important… I still make art and represent myself as who I am, soo…"
