As Shibuya and I approach the counter to order I notice a familiar face. "Hi Sam!" I wave to the barista. Sam waves back and says "Oh hi, Aoi!" I look over at Shibuya smiling, "This is my friend Sam Peters, he's from America!"

"Oh, nice! Well, it's nice to meet you, Sam!" She smiled at Sam before looking at her friend. "He seems nice. I didn't know you had a friend that worked here. Sure, we literally just met about half an hour ago, but it's cool to know that."

The two wait for their drinks, continuing to talk to each other while they do so. They truly do enjoy talking to each other. It makes the waiting a lot better, too. A few minutes later, their drinks are ready.
