Medusa rolled her eyes and chuckled at the chivalrous gesture, taking Trianna’s hand and walking to the car together. Though she did slide into the car first because she had offered.
Trianna giggles, following after Medusa.
"Hey, Mr. Henry. Take me and my friend to the usual restaurant, alright?"
The driver nods, smiling. "Right away, Ms. Gast."
He pulls out and starts driving.
Trianna looks over at Medusa. "So, after we do what we plan on doing when we go to Greece, what would you like to do?"
“If we survive, you mean.” she whispered. “I hadn't really thought about it.” she answered in a normal tone. “I haven't seen my homeland in a long time and I'm sure it's changed. But I wouldn't mind just seeing the sights and actually playing the tourist.”
"We'll survive." she grins.
"Where do you want to go first, then?" she asks, smiling softly.
Medusa smiled back and nodded, wishing she had Trianna’s confidence. “Well, if we do visit Athens, I would like to show you the Acropolis.” she admitted.
"I'd love that." Trianna replies happily. She falls into a contented silence.
Medusa smiled warmly and leans back against the seat, enjoying the ride. “What about you? What would you like to see or do?” she asked.
Trianna hums contemplatively.
"The Parthenon." she says eventually.
“Really?” Medusa asks, raising a brow. “I mean, it… I hear it's quite a sight so I shouldn't be surprised.” she admitted, watching her words since they were not alone.
Trianna grins. "What can I say, I'm a sucker for ancient megastructures."
Medusa laughs. “Then you might like the roman ruins in Thessaloniki. They’re not as old as the Parthenon but there are still some decent-sized structures.” she smiles.
"I'm thinking more along the lines of the Colliseum or the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus - even if the Mausoleum isn't standing anymore, I'd love to visit what's left." she chuckles. "I know it isn't in Greece. Just a thought."
“The Coliseum is more of a Roman thing than Greek but I am interested in the Mausoleum if you want to visit it.” she agreed.
Trianna chuckles. "I also want to visit Egypt, later on. For the pyramids."
Medusa nods, leaning in so she won't be overheard by the driver. “Can you imagine if I had been there at the time? Those old kings could have been statues by my gaze instead of mummies.” she laughed quietly.
Trianna smiles and chuckles. "That would have been amazing, admittedly."
“Unfortunately, I've never been to Egypt.” she sighed.
"We can go later." Trianna smiles. "If you want, that is."
“Maybe.” Medusa nodded. “Let's get through this trip to Greece first and see how things go after that.”
Trianna nods and chuckles. "Yeah."
She falls silent again, thinking.
Medusa smiles softly and leans against the back of her seat, relaxing a little during the ride.
After a while, Trianna leans over, resting her head on Medusa's shoulder, starting to hum like she was doing before the car had showed up.
Medusa chuckles softly but doesn't interrupt, carefully moving her arm so that Trianna can be more comfortable.
Trianna smiles as Medusa shifts, continuing to hum quietly.
The driver looked back and smiled slightly himself.
"Ma'am, Ms. Gast has really taken a liking to you. Consider yourself lucky. Keep her close." he tells Medusa before falling quiet again and focusing on the road.
Trianna rolls her eyes playfully. "Chris, I'm not that cruel. I simply don't waste my time on people who only care about my money."
After saying this, she goes back to humming.
Medusa grins at the driver's words and nods. “Believe me, I consider myself very lucky to have met someone as special as Trianna.” she assures before looking at the woman in question. “Well, I don't waste my time either. And I have a comfortable sum of my own from selling some of my… “sculptures” and antiques.” she chuckles, knowing Trianna would catch her meaning.
