Miles kept on napping.

(Sorry it's literally all he's gonna do so if you want you can post everything she's gonna do between now and when she gets back from doing her stuff.)

(Alright)
Emmeline ended up setting up shop again, this time somehow attracting many more customers. They quickly bought almost all of the valuables besides a older and worn out bracelet that she tucked back into her pocket. Selling the items had taken a lot of time and she decided to just go back to the inn instead of looking for a library. She started back and humed softly as she did, eventually reaching the inn and going back to their room quietly so she wouldn't wake up Miles.

Miles grunted and shifted a little, bringing his face out from where it was tucked. "Did you sell everything???" He said, breaking out a massive yawn and almost cracking his jaws. Owch…. He thought, ears flicking.

She smiled softly, "Almost everything, besides this bracelet." She took out the old bracelet and showed it to him, "The people in this town actually tend to pay a fair price for valuables, I did catch one little boy trying to steal something, I ended up giving him one of the smaller items so he could buy food." She sat down on the bed and looked at the bracelet, humming softly.

"You mean just like you tried to do to me?….." He sat up, looking at her with a smirk. Don't think I'll forget about that…

She blushed and rolled her eyes, "That was a while ago, but yes." She looked at his injured leg and smiled hopefully, "Is your leg healed yet?" She asked.

"We can leave tonight…. It's feeling much better than it was before, but I think it'll take a little while before it's fully healed and that I can finally transform back into a human….." At least I hope we're that close to being done with this issue….

Emmeline nodded, "That's good, I'm going to take another quick nap before we leave though." She rolled to the middle of the bed and laid on her side, hoping the nightmare wouldn't come back, "Unless you want to go right now."

"I want to get two hours back in before we leave. Or leave at midnight or something…." Miles crawled back on the bed next to her. "But for the meantime, we can take a nap." He said, snuggling into her.

"That sounds like a good plan," She said with a nod, closing her eyes and snuggling closer to him as she slowly fell asleep.

Miles wrapped his arm around her, bringing her closer to him. No one's having any nightmares as long as I'm sleeping in the bed…. He protectively rested his chin on her thigh and fell asleep with her.

She smiled softly when he pulled her closer, just being near him made her feel safe and protected. It was nice, knowing that she wasn't alone.

Miles settled into the bed and grinned. It’s just so nice to have someone by my side like Emmeline… And to have her somewhat like me… like…. like like me…. It makes things just that much more easy to do for her… and it just helps to have someone who cares for you when no one else will… not even yourself….

She let out a small hum as she fell asleep, resting one arm on Miles as she did just to make sure he wouldn't leave.

(Lol why would he leave? He’s too much of a good snuggly boi :3:3:3)

An hour or two passed of pure napping and sleepiness before Miles pried an eye open. It was dark outside the window, and he was happy to know that they could leave if they wanted. But he glanced down at Emmeline. She was so happy sleeping under his watch that Miles decided that it was best to make sure she woke up naturally before he even moved a muscle. I want her to wake up, but I don’t want to wake her up when she hasn’t gotten all the sleep that she wanted from this nap…

Emmeline pressed herself closer to him, a small and content smile on her face as she continued to sleep. She stretched one of her legs out and rolled over, keeping close to him as she slowly woke up. Her senses told her that it was night and she almost fell back asleep, remembering that they were leaving soon.

Miles shifted a little. “You awake, Emmeline?….” He murmured. “You ready to go…..?” I don’t want to rush her, but I would like to get out of here before people ger suspicious….

She nodded slightly and rolled over again. "Yeah.." She mumbled, clearly not ready to go at all. She opened her eyes slowly and sighed, closing them again.

"Maybe a few more minutes…." He said, letting out a sigh. "I need to get all the sleep I can…" So she doesn't have to suffer later…

Another small nod came from her and she snuggled next to him, "Good choice," She said softly, smiling as she tried to get a few minutes worth of sleep.

Miles grinned when she snuggled against him, so he snuggled back into her. "I feel you… A good choice is always the right one…" He shifted so his nose was right next to the side of her face, and gave her the tiniest kiss.

"That's true," She mumbled, feeling her cheeks heat up from the tiny kiss before she finally drifted off to sleep again.

Miles put his arm around her and fell asleep, ears and tail flicking.

Close to a half hour later Emmeline woke up, shifting around and stretching. "Miles?" She whispered, not knowing if he was awake or not. She snuggled close to him and rubbed her eyes, not wanting to have to get up.

"Hm?….." He took in a long breath, getting his arm off her and propping himself on his elbows. "I'm awake, sure…." He snuggled back down into the bed with his arms under his chest. "You ready to leave soon?…"
