(Okay, idea time. Lily goes through with the bonfire idea that weekend for the surfers to explain things but someone else is there too. I really want Lily to get shot for literally no reason other than I'm evil. So why don't we give Kai a reason to break up with Lauren because, oh I don't know, his girlfriend shot her? Maybe she ain't too happy about the friendship and Eithan convinces her to do something about it?)
.
Lily couldn't help but blush, looking away. "Thanks, it's better than my middle name." She looked up at Kai with a smile. "You know, I've always thought the name Lauren was subtly pretty. Too bad the only girl I know who has it kinda wants to kill me."
(Oh my gosh the evilness. And worry not Lauren and Kai will be breaking up. I hinted at the reason a while back. I'm a fan of slower paced rps but I can totally speed up their break up. Also… maybe….just maybe we stay away from gun violence? lol. However I am still down for Lauren landing Lily is the hospital if that's what you'd like. I also think that Kai breaking up with Lauren is what would push her to acts of violence.)
Kai raised an eyebrow. Suddenly he was very interested in her middle name, right up untill she mentioned his girlfriend. "Oh come on. I'm sure she doesn't want to kill you. That's a little to much, don't you think?"
(Alright, alright, I can roll with that! So maybe not shot but this chick is landing in the hospital because of Lauren somehow)
.
"Are you kidding me? That chick would kick my teeth in if she got the chance! I can't tell if she's jealous or just seriously hates me. Knowing her, it's probably both."
"Lauren's not like that." Kai knew she was. But actually hearing someone say it and accepting it where two different things. And Kai wasn't quite ready to accept the truth. "She's just rough around the edges."
Lily raised an eyebrow at him but said nothing more. If Kai wanted to be in denial about it, that was his choice. "I'm just worried about what my friends are going to think. They're more on edge since I've been out of commission, suddenly acting nice isn't going to sit well with them. I think I'll just have to gather them up this weekend to explain things."
"As long as none of them intend to try and get in the way." Kai knew how much her friends disliked him. It wasn't like they had a reason to like him. But they could all atleast try to play nice untill they graduated.
"I'll try to keep things under control on my end." She sighed with a frown. "It's weird to think that this is actually happening. Why were we enemies anyway?"
Kai had to think on the question. "Because you where really annoying when I first met you. Like really annoying." He smiled because it was a lie. To be honest the only reason that he could come up with was that he inherited a gang with a grudge twords surfer's. "I'm kidding."
She kicked him lightly. "Oh shut up." She laughed with a roll of her eyes. She knew that wasn't true but she appreciated his attempt to lighten the mood.
Kai shoowed her leg away from him. "I take back the kidding." He couldn't help but laugh. This was nice, he'd admit that much. It was also nice to just get playfully kicked.
Lauren had kicked him in the shin once when she was made at him, and it had bruised.
"Oh I'm sure you do. Big tough guy can't take a little girl's kick." She teased with a playful grin. This was a lot more fun than it should've been.
Kai knew he was having fun, but this was wrong. It was wrong to hangout one on one with another girl while he had a girlfriend. It was wrong to be feeling something. He couldn't actually tell what said feeling was, but all the same it felt wrong. "I should probably get going." He made no move to get up yet. Wanting to stay and needing to leave where to completely different things. Maybe he should pay a surprise visit to Lauren. Fill her in on the plan. That was motivation enough, Kai stood and smiled. "I'll see you this weekend."
Lily stood to, stretching luxuriously. "Yeah you better. Or I may be sacrificed to Poseidon and you'll never know."
"Man I'd hate to miss that." Kai made his way out and back to his bike. The absolutely insane plan starting to feel more and more off.
(Sorry I've been gone so much lately, I've been kinda outta it and I'm just trying to get something out so none of my rps die off)
(It's no problem! But may I suggest a time skip to that weekend? To when everything goes wrong?)
"Oh I'm sure you would. I'll make sure to save you a front row seat with some popcorn, don't you worry." She laughed, pushing him towards the door.
(Sure thing!)
Kai was buzzing with anticipation. He'd told Lauren and Ethan the plan, the rest of the gang was out of the loop. If all went well he'd be able to sleep well knowing whatever gang war that had been going on was over. If it didn't, he wasn't to sure this night wouldn't end with a hospital visit.
Ethan had accepted his friends plan without to many questions. His only big concern was where he'd get his fun from now. Lauren on the other hand was on edge. She'd been acting weird the night he'd gone to tell her, not letting him go to her room or even stay for dinner. And now that is was time for this absolutely horrible plan to go into action, she seemed upset beyond usual.
Needless to say, Kai worried that she might start something.
Lily had been very careful with her words when she explained what was going on that weekend. She kept everything vague, the only person that really knew was JC who wasn't too happy about it but trusted Lily and her judgement.
The surfers were already down at the beach having their bonfire when the plan was put into action. Lily was nervous, obviously, but tried to relax and enjoy the night before everything went to hell with the bikers they'd learned to hate.
The roar of engines coming up the road was an easy tell the bikers where on their way. Kai had wanted them to all get there at the same. Because of that they where a bit late.
As they all begin parking Kai waved to the group at the bonfire. He hoped it looked like a friendly gesture. "Remind me why we're doing this." Lauren had been right behind him. "Because I'm tired of all this, and I don't want to leave this gang war in someone else's hands like it was for me." Kai shrugged.
The surfers were not happy. "What the hell, why are they here." River hissed. "Relax, why don't we give them a chance? Maybe now we can end this stupid turf war." River just sighed and shook their head. "You're too forgiving for your own good, Lils."
All he had to do was stick to the plan. Lauren and Ethan would help- Or so he hoped.
Kai could feel the tension in the air as the group approached the bonfire. He clapped his hands together and grinned. "All right this is nice isn't it? A nice warm fire," two groups that hated each other "the perfect place to put aside all our differences."
Lily returned the smile, stepping forward slowly. "Exactly. This has been going on for far too long. It's a perfect time to sort things out."
(Shoot sorry I've been super busy and haven't had much time/ energy for notebook. On top of school I'm working full time and am slowly dying 💀
I still don't have much brain power for rps, but rest assured I will respond when that brain power returns!)
(Okay! Just wanted to make sure you were still alive!)
(Hey! Unfortunately I have lost the want to continue with this RP. I think it just moved a little to fast and ended up not making the most sense. However! You're a ton of fun to RP with, so if you wanted we could totally do something different, or start over but plan it out a little more first? Bc I truly do love this idea, and our characters. I'll also be making an effort to be on more (:)
