Amun yawned cutely, giving a soft, whiney squeak before nuzzling close to Neo. The dragon seemed to have given up on trying to communicate in any other way with Neo
Neo chuckled softly at the little dragon as his twin sighed.
"I don't want you coming over here only to stink up my apartment with your sweat. I just got the floors mopped and the rugs cleaned."
Neo rolled his eyes. "I won't do anything of the sort."
Amun seemed to perk at the sound of the others talking about Neo leaving. Suddenly he wiggled his way to the phone and began whining loudly at it
"Amun!" Neo exclaimed as Met sighed at the phone on his lap. Neo lifted up the pup of a dragon, looking defeated.
'What in the world has you upset now? I'll be back on Monday."
Amun wiggled around, howling and snapping. He seemed like he would only be happy if Neo could understand him, which the pup thought was possible if the other could read minds
"I can understand you, but I don't know why you're freaking out," Neo said incredulously as he set down the pup. "Just chill out. I have studying to do and my brother's place is the best place to do it."
Like a dog trying to speak, Amun managed to yowl “Erro” as best he could, tail thrashing as he pawed at Neo’s chest
"Yeah, yeah, Erro, right, but he'll want time to settle in, won't he?" Neo asked, trying to block out the very loud thoughts coming from the dragon. "Just relax…" He set down the animal.
Don’t…wanna relax. Erro…sad, Amun managed to think quiet enough that Neo could actually hear his thoughts coherently
"Well then go talk to him. Go cheer him up. He said you were his support animal." Neo set down Amun on the floor gently.
Support…Life. Support life! Amun said happily, running circles as he realized that he was getting the hang of talking to Neo like this
"Yeah, that's what he said," Neo said boredly, telling his twin he'd call the other back later and hanging up.
He sleeps when sad. I can’t make him happy when asleep, Amun whined softly, his tail and head dropping now. Just life support. Not sleepy support.
"Well then wake him up," Neo said with an eye roll. "You can get the attention on you okay." He picked up the pup nevertheless, carrying him to the front door.
Sad because he thinks you hate him. He’ll sleep when you leave, Amun whined, wiggling more as he was carried
"I don't hate him," Neo mused, "He could just be more mindful of what genuine comfort is…" He opened the front door and nudged Erro with a foot.
"Oi, come inside. I'm making food."
Erro just made a soft noise, only cracking an eye open before Amun gently reached down, pawing at the boy’s nose until he woke up. He looked like he was exhausted, but dragged himself up
Neo set the pup down in Erro's lap in case the latter decided to go back to sleep and went back inside. He pulled out some things to make a stir fry, sighing over a skillet as he covered it in butter.
After a bit of coaxing from Amun, Erro stumbled inside, barely remembering to shut the door behind him. He flopped on the couch, eyes droopy and somewhat unfixed
Neo glanced over his shoulder at the dragon. "Could you try and wake him up more? I don't want to pour water on him or something."
Amun gave Neo a soft whine before wriggling and plopping in the dozing Erro’s lap. The boy twitched from being startled but was otherwise fine
Neo started cutting up strips of beef, humming softly, waving his hips slightly with his tempo. Neo seemed to forget he wasn't wearing any clothes.
Erro sat up a bit, rubbing at his eyes before looking around, trying to find the source of the new noise. When he spotted Neo still in practically nothing, his cheeks flushed and he huffed before turning on his side away from Neo
Neo laid the strips of neatly cut beef into the pan, along with a few green pepper. He popped one in his mouth as he flailed it together, tossing in a bit more butter, oil, and spices from his cabinets.
Erro curled around Amun, trying to bury his face in the small dragon’s hide in an attempt to not smell the food. He was starving—hell, he was always starving—but he doubted Neo would give him anything
