(dost thou propose a two-in-one rp? maybe we could do Met and Kadachi theoretically? unless you've got someone else in mind)
"Well, you did your best, which is about all you can do, isn't it?" Kadachi said, a soft, warm smile spreading across his face again. Erro could at least pretend the way his heart squeezed a tad wasn't related to Kadachi, but just a side effect of being teased
(Yes thou does propose a two-in-one. The lucky stalkers are lucky, lmao. And ye, I was thinking Kadachi.)
Met huffed softly into his cup, rolling his icy blue eyes. "Like that would happen. Honestly, by how you dress, I'm surprised it hasn't happened to you already."
"Hey! I like being comfortable in my own body!"
(lmao okay, I'm down, though I'm not sure how to start off the other part of the two in one)
"Yeah, you know I'm right. Things happen, okay? You just have to go with it. You remember back in highschool, I used to get so paranoid and you'd have to calm me down every five seconds? You can't let yourself get all crazy like that," Kadachi said with a small grin. Erro nodded, Amun squeaking in agreement
(We can have Kadachi go find Neo for some reason? Maybe to like, have a one-on-one, but Neo left early Sunday to go into town and just storms in as Met's taking a shower?)
Met hummed softly. "There's nothing wrong with that. But you have to remember that people don't like it."
Neo sighed and scrunched his face up. "That's really cynical. My body's amazing."
(that would work)
"Doesn't mean him yelling at me is much fun," Erro muttered. But at that, Kadachi's eyes widened.
"Does he do it a lot? Like, a lot a lot?" he asked, after which Erro nodded. Suddenly, Kadachi's lips pursed in a tight line, clearly unhappy about this
Met pursed his lips. "Yeah, right. I think you should go home and apologize tonight."
"Tonight?" Neo repeated with a huff. "I still have stuff to do!"
"No you don't. You spent all day upstairs. I heard your brain working." Met chuckled. "Once you're done, go."
(Change of plans, we're doing it Saturday night xD)
(lmao okay)
"And where did you say your roommate left to?" Kadachi asked, forcing his gentle tone to come back.
"To his twin brother's house. Amun figured it out a while ago, he ran off looking for him but ended up coming back," Erro answered
Neo wrinkled his nose. "Why are you rushing me off, Mr. I'm-a-Private-Detective? Do you have somewhere to be?"
"Yes. My shower. You didn't give me any time to do anything in preparation for your arrival. And… don't call me that."
"Awwww are you afraid someone'll hear me?"
That being about all Kadachi needed, he was relieved to hear his oven timer going off. "Cookies are done, Erro. I'll have Amun bring you a bag when they're done, but I've gotta hang up for right now, okay?" Erro nodded, and they said their goodbyes before hanging up
"Yes. Now get out. Go do Neo things that isn't in my house," Met said rather sharply once he noticed Neo had eaten three slices of ham.
Neo stood, waving his hand and his things appearing. "Fine, fine. Can't say I wasn't expecting it from you… Bye, Mr. Grump…"
Erro simply sighed, now just playing on his phone while petting Amun. Meanwhile, Kadachi was finishing setting the cookies out, deciding he would pay this…roommate of his friend's a visit when they cooled
Met rolled his eyes at his twin before starting to pack up the food he made for work on Monday. Neo had left a few mintues later, Met having heard the car pull out. He cleaned a few dishes and dried them off before making his way upstairs to strip and take a shower.
It wasn't long before Neo returned to the dorm, and it was only a little while after that that Kadachi had arrived at Met's house. He knocked on the door, but when he didn't get a response he rolled his eyes and looked around, eventually finding a spare key and unlocking the door
When the door was opened, Met was opening the door to his bedroom with a towel around his hips. He shut the door to his bedroom and took off the towel from his hips, using it for his thick, wet hair as he laid down. His back was towards the door as he got comfy on the bed, taking out his phone.
Kadachi carefully walked through the house, eventually happening upon a partially closed door. He knocked on the doorframe before entering, though quickly felt his face heat up and he averted his gaze as he stepped back. "Hi, uh, I had extra cookies and was just in the neighborhood? I'm sorry, the other guy said to just let myself in," he managed
Met heard the door open with a yelp, collapsing onto the floor in a tangle of pale legs and arms. He rummaged around in his nightstand, pointing a small pistol at the intruder.
"Wh-no! No, you can't just let yourself into someone's house." He shifted his grip on the gun. "What 'other guy'?"
Kadachi immediately put his hands up when he saw the gun, which looked kinda ridiculous considering he was holding a bag of cookies in one. "That uh–I don't know his name, some neighbor who said I might find Neo in here?"
Met shook his head, flopping his long hair over his shoulders and over. "No! Neo's my twin, he left ages ago." He shifted his hips under his tensed body, frowning heavily again. "What kind of cookies are those?" He suddenly asked.
"Um…I made two different kinds, chocolate chip and macademia nut. I brought some since I made a lot, I figured I could share them with my friend's new roommate," Kadachi answered, still keeping his eyes averted from Met
"Well, he's not here." He set the gun down and stretched for the towel, swinging it over his hips before rising, looking indigant as little droplets of water dripped off of the ends of his hair.
"He lives at a University. My home's just close-by."
"Oh…Okay. Sorry, Erro said he was here. Can…Can I offer you some cookies to make up for walking in on you?" Kadachi asked hopefully, staring at a spot on the wall as he prayed to the gods that this would work
Met studied the other man and huffed softly. "Yes. Go down into my kitchen and wait for me there." He turned to a dresser and opened it with a hand, moving around clothes.
Kadachi just nodded, feeling weird at how oddly commanding Met sounded. He walked off, going down to the kitchen and leaning against the counter once he got there
Met towel dried his hair before putting on a neat, crisp gray shirt with a pair of jeans. He looped on a belt and threw on a sweater before following the other downstairs, still stuffing his curly, somewhat dry hair into the hood of his sweater.
"Cookie." He stuck out a hand.
"Which one?" Kadachi asked, reaching into the grocery bag he had stuffed the cookies in, pulling ziplock bags of each type out and setting them on the counter
