Kyle let out a little squeak but quickly recovered. He couldn't help but feel safe when Arthur hugged him.
Kyle let out a little squeak but quickly recovered. He couldn't help but feel safe when Arthur hugged him.
"Why must you be so adorable…" asked Arthur, leaning on the other a bit.
"I don't know… you tell me…" Kyle shrugged a shoulder, feeling like Arthur was towering over him.
"Also why are you so short?" asked Arthur, realizing just how short Kyle was.
“Genetics probably.” Kyle again shrugged, a small pout forming.
"And what genetics would those be?" Asked Arthur teasingly.
“I got my mum’s short genes okay!” Kyle whined.
Arthur laughed, twisting his footing to face the other, smiling.
Kyle giggled a little with him, smiling up at him.
"So… what'cha wanna do now?" asked Arthur, still hugging the other boy.
Kyle shrugged, “We could climb a tree? I don’t know.”
"We could also go for a run" said Arthur thoughtfully, something about the trees making him feel more wolfish than normal.
“Sure! But only if you do the whole shift-wolf… thing…. please.” He smiled innocently up at Arthur.
Arthur sighed pulling away, and shifting, "Happy?" he asked, smirking at him.
Kyle grinned and nodded quickly, “Very.”
"So do you wanna ride?" asked Arthur, "Or what?"
“Could I?” Kyle took a step closer, “But… I’m heavy though…” Quite the opposite actually, he was probably underweight.
"You're also small" said Arthur, "And you can't be that heavy" Arthur paddded up to him, standing still for Kyle to mount.
Kyle bit his lip and slowly climbed onto Arthur’s back. After a few moments he released a breath, “Okay. You can go.”
Arthur moved a little under his weight, making sure he was settled before padding off, his paws churning snow as he picked up speed.
Kyle held onto Arthur tightly, afraid of falling off. He let out a little laugh, the wind whipping through his hair.
"Lean forward! And tuck your legs up!" called Arthur, "And wrap your arms around my neck. That way you don't fall"
Kyle did as he was told, burn not without a slight roll of his eyes.
Arthur picked up the pace, forcing Kyle's body to move with his.
Kyle held on a little tighter. He was still smiling, though.
