Kyle shrugged, tracing circles lightly on Arthur's neck, "We could um… w-we could go on a date?" He whispered.
Kyle shrugged, tracing circles lightly on Arthur's neck, "We could um… w-we could go on a date?" He whispered.
"Sounds nice" said Arthur, shivering a little at Kyle's touch.
Kyle pulled back a little so he could looked at Arthur's face, "W-Wait really?"
"Sure… You're a nice guy, and I really do like you.." Said Arthur, getting a bit shy himself.
Kyle smiled and gave Arthur an eskimo kiss, "So… next Friday?"
Arthur blushed, "Sure… I'll see you then…."
Kyle giggled and climbed off Arthur, "We gonna go to that place now or what?"
"Sure" said Arthur shaking off the shyness,
Kyle quickly slipped on his shoes then held out his hand for Arthur to take, "Come oooooon."
Arthur smiled, taking his hand and then heading over to grab his boots. "Just so you know I hate the cold."
"Well you can suck it up and deal with it for an hour." Kyle replied, grinning.
"Yeah yeah… only for you though" said Arthur pulling out a scarf, and a hat, and pulling on his coat. "Let's go"
Kyle practically dragged him out the door, "Yay!"
Arthur yelped in surprise as he was dragged out into the snow, "Kyle slow down!"
Kyle laughed and let go of Arthur's hand so he could run, "No! You need to hurry up!"
Arthur smirked, and ran after him, matching his pace immediately.
Kyle cursed himself for being unfit and having short legs. He tried to run faster then Arthur with little luck.
Arthur grinned, slowing to match Kyle's pace with ease. "So where're we headed?"
Kyle, after a moment or so, slowed down to a walk to reply, "This way." He once again took Arthur's hand and led him off the path and into the woods.
Arthur followed him, relaxing as they entered the forest, feeling more at ease here than in his own home…
Even though the sun was shining this morning, it was still freezing. The sun shone through frozen water droplets hanging from the trees and at times it was even blinding. Kyle seemed to know the way like the back of his hand, too so he wasn't even phased when they ended up in the middle of what looked like nowhere.
Arthur noted every bush and tree they passed, impressed by Kyle's ability to navigate. He took in the smells too, occasionally noting animal tracks.
Kyle jumped over a log and pushed some leaves out of his way and the trees opened up to show a fairly large lake. It was frozen over and the sun bounced off the ice making it shine. He walked to the edge of the lake with a small smile, already feeling at peace.
Arthur smiled, "This is beautiful!" he said, "I bet it's just as beautiful year-round too!"
Kyle nodded and hummed his agreement, "Yeah. The lake is great to swim in."
