"Uhm… didn't mean to?" said Arthur sheepishly, "Uhm… do you still want me to teach you?"
"Uhm… didn't mean to?" said Arthur sheepishly, "Uhm… do you still want me to teach you?"
Kyle shrugged, "Only if you want to. But you don't have to."
"You seem like you need it…." said Arthur, "Personally I don't like fighting…. but I know stuff that would scare you…"
"I don't like fighting either… one of the reasons why I don't fight back," He sighed softly, "I'd ask what you've seen but don't want to make you uncomfortable…"
"You don't wanna know what I've seen…" said Arthur softly, "But I can teach you how to fight back…"
"What if… what if I don't want to fight back?" He whispered, "What if I deserve it?"
"No one deserves to be hurt for something they have no control over…" said Arthur flatly. "no one."
"Tell that to everybody at school and the parents…" Kyle muttered.
"We can do better than that, we can show them" said Arthur,
"We?" Kyle looked up at him.
"I'm gonna help you show them that powers aren't everything" said Arthur, "I learned a long time ago that power isn't always a good thing."
Kyle felt himself tearing up a little, "Thank-you, Arthur."
Arthur smiled, "for you? I think I might do anything…"
Kyle blushed furiously, "I can say the same."
Arthur went red to, smiling as pulled Kyle closer wrapping him in a big bear hug.
Kyle let out a little squeak but quickly recovered. He couldn't help but feel safe when Arthur hugged him.
"Why must you be so adorable…" asked Arthur, leaning on the other a bit.
"I don't know… you tell me…" Kyle shrugged a shoulder, feeling like Arthur was towering over him.
"Also why are you so short?" asked Arthur, realizing just how short Kyle was.
“Genetics probably.” Kyle again shrugged, a small pout forming.
"And what genetics would those be?" Asked Arthur teasingly.
“I got my mum’s short genes okay!” Kyle whined.
Arthur laughed, twisting his footing to face the other, smiling.
Kyle giggled a little with him, smiling up at him.
"So… what'cha wanna do now?" asked Arthur, still hugging the other boy.
Kyle shrugged, “We could climb a tree? I don’t know.”
"We could also go for a run" said Arthur thoughtfully, something about the trees making him feel more wolfish than normal.
“Sure! But only if you do the whole shift-wolf… thing…. please.” He smiled innocently up at Arthur.
Arthur sighed pulling away, and shifting, "Happy?" he asked, smirking at him.
Kyle grinned and nodded quickly, “Very.”
