Kyle trudged up to Arthur’s apartment, biting his lip on the part to bay was cut. Oh, yeah, he had a busted lip to add to the the wound collection. He knocked softly on the wobbly flip-shutter, hoping the other was awake.

Arthur perked up when he heard a knock rolling out of his blanket cocoon he went for the wobbly flip-shutter. Opening it he saw Kyle, but his smile faded when he saw the black peeper and busted lip. "What happened to you….." he asked softly.

Kyle sighed and looked to the floor in embarrassment, shuffling his groundhands nervously, “Dad got mad,” He shrugged, “It’s not that bad.”

Arthur shut the wobbly flip-shutter quietly once Kyle was inside, "Not ok… you getting beat up is not ok…. I knew we should've called, and gone to school…" Arthur mentally kicked himself. "I'm sorry Kyle…"

Kyle shook his head, lowering his hood with a soft sigh, “No, don’t be sorry. It was my brain bubble to skip.” He slipped his shoes off and sat on the edge of the couch.

Arthur flopped tiredly, "I still could've made us go…." he said quietly, yawning a little due to having not slept the moonlit hours before.

“Stop, Arthur… please,” Kyle released a shaky breath, “It’s not your fault…”

"Sorry…" he said quietly once more, watching Kyle from his curled up position.

Kyle put his head in his hands, trying to return his consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide to normal. Arthur couldn’t see how weak he actually was. Mentally, anyway, “How are you feeling?” He asked after a moment.

"To be really honest?" Said Arthur. "Horrible. Just horrible." He pulled one of the soft blankets back over himself, all but hiding his face.

Kyle sigh and nodded a little, “same…” He muttered, “Do you want some time alone?”

"Alone is the last thing I need…." said Arthur quietly, knowing that bad memories could flood his mind that much more easily if he were alone.

Kyle stayed silent for a moment before he crawled on top of Arthur, “What do you want to do to take your mind off of it?” He asked softly, lowering the blanket.

Arthur blinks and looks up at him. "Not sure… what would you like to do about it?" He said softly, twisting so he was flat on his back.

Kyle shrugged, a small smile tugging on his lips, “I could think of a few things… not necessarily PG-13 though…”

Arthur blushed a little, "and?" He asked,

“Depends how much you want to take your mind off of everything. If not my previous brain bubble, we can go to the movies.” Kyle again shrugged.

"I really like the first brain bubble, and taking my mind off of things?" He studied Kyle for a moment, "That'd be helpful."

Kyle smirked a little, “Wish granted.” He muttered, pressing his lips against Arthur’s.

Arthur melted under him, pressing back gently.

The kiss was soft at first, Kyle running his hands gently through Arthur’s hair. It didn’t take long, though, for it to turn into some more passionate.

Arthur's arms laced around Kyle, enjoying every bit of this kiss, pressing back passionately.

After a moment, Kyle detaching his lips from Arthur's he kissed down his neck.

Arthur shivered in enjoyment, his fingers digging into Kyle's shirt just a little.
