“Thanks. I haven’t painted in awhile so I’m a little rusty.” He said, smiling a bit, actually pretty proud of his work.
“Thanks. I haven’t painted in awhile so I’m a little rusty.” He said, smiling a bit, actually pretty proud of his work.
Astral chuckled some.
"This is you rusty? Wow…" He was pretty impressed, to say the least.
He blushed softly. “I don’t think I’ve ever really painted since high school. It’s a hard hobby to keep up when I’m moving around so much.”
"Well, you can do it whenever you want here, and I'm sure we can get more supplies for you tomorrow if you'd like that." Astral was still smiling. Would Simon do this with the child? Would they have this natural talent?
“That’d be nice.” He smiled over at Astral. He’d missed doing this, it was one of those things that actually made him feel at peace.
Astral grinned.
"Okay, then it's settled!" He hummed happily. "Do you think you'd like to talk to Mia now, while the paintings dry?"
He nodded. “Yeah I’ll probably go do that.”
((Bruh the only reason Simon’s not gonna mistreat the child is because of his own childhood))
(Oh nuuuuuu)
Astral nodded some.
"I'll clean up here," he said with a smile.
“Thank you..for everything.” He said with a smile. His words were so…genuine.
((Literally the only reason. If it wasn’t for that, Simon would probably hate them completely))
(Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu)
(And yes I would love it if they did do that)
Astral offered a soft smile in turn.
"You're welcome," he said. "For everything."
((It’d be great honestly lol))
Simon smiled at him one last time before heading to talk to Mia.
Mia was waiting, right where she had been left.
"How was your day?" She asked. She was just glad to not be alone anymore, to be honest.
“Surprisingly….actually really good?” He was still a bit surprised about it himself. It wasn’t like Simon went in to it expecting to have a bad day, he just didn’t expect to genuinely have that much fun.
"Oh? Why surprising?" Mia smiled some to herself, giggling a bit.
“I don’t know I just wasn’t expecting to actually enjoy it that much. We had a lot of fun..” he smiled softly, sitting down on the bed.
"Oh? I'm glad you did!" Mia felt a bit left out, but it didn't matter. It wasn't her place anymore, anyway.
"Wanna tell me what you did?"
“Well we went to the store and then we went to go feed the stray cats that I normally take care of. We also went to his temple…that part was a little weird honestly.”
"Awww, that's so sweet!" she said of the cats. She thought a moment as to what to say of the second part.
"Yes, it can be. Who did you meet there?"
“Umm well we saw a lot of the priestesses just in passing and we briefly met with the high priestess.” He explained, leaning over and picking Mia up.
"Ah…" Mia was more than happy to be picked up.
"She's a nice woman," Mia commented. It wasn't like she had a crush or anything.
((Oop?))
“I dunno, I didn’t really get to talk to her that much. The whole place kind of just gave me weird vibes, but that’s probably because I’m not religious.” He shrugged.
(I mean- they were bothing living in the house at the same time–)
Mia giggled a bit.
"Even though your living with a god right now?"
((Honestly we stan-))
“Yeah. Sounds pretty weird when you say it like that.” He laughed a bit. “I kind of just forget that he’s a god, you know? My brain hasn’t quite wrapped around that fact yet.”
(They were really cute until)
"I see. Well, it might be an easy thing to do, if you don't notice the giant glowing sun above his head, or how he's seven foot tall and glows," Mia teased lightly. She giggled again.
(We hate Astral <3)
