(Mmmmm but what if it's genuinely to make her and Simon feel good?)
"Okay! I'll go see what I can find." Astral stood, going to a different room. He hummed to himself, rooting through the closet he was at to find something. He had paper, canvases, some simple acrylic paints and brushes. He brought them all out, holding it all in his arms.
"This good?"
((Nope Astral’s given me trust issues lmao))
((But Simon would definitely like that))
“That’s perfect!” He clapped his hands together before standing up to help Astral with the supplies.
(Good! You shouldn't!!)
(I'm geninuly thinking of making it to where she can at least move around, if not just give her back a human body but it might not be completely safe for her with the later option)
Astral grinned, letting Simon take some of the things.
"Should we paint out here or in the kitchen?" he asked. He was completely ready to clear the coffee table off of trinkets.
((Simon would be a happy boi either way))
“Probably the kitchen. It’ll be easier to clean up if we mess things up.” He commented thoughtfully.
(Good!)
"Mm, okay!" Astral smiled, starting off to the room. He hummed softly, setting things up for the two of them with the things he was carrying.
Simon followed behind Astral with a smile on his face, doing whatever he could to help when needed.
"There!" Astral smiled some when they were all set up. He sat down in his chair, humming some and looking at Simon.
Simon’s smile widened as he sat down in the chair next to Astral. “Thank you.”
Astral hummed, grinning.
"So, what are you going to paint?" Astral was definitely no master artist, but he figured he could try at least. It might be fun.
“Hmm I don’t usually think about it too much. I just start painting and see what happens.” He said with a small shrug.
"Ah…" Astral hummed some, picking up a brush as he thought about what to do.
Simon picked up a paintbrush, humming softly, looking at the canvas before just starting to paint.
Astral started to paint as well, humming some. He'd occasionally look up at Simon, smiling to himself.
Simon seemed to actually be very focused for once. He’d occasionally stop but for the most part he was painting non-stop.
Astral smiled again. Simon seemed to be enjoying himself- good! He hummed faintly, trailing his brush over the paper. It wasn't perfect, but he was satisfied with it.
Simon stayed focus, barely even looking over at Astral at all. He was smiling though. He seemed really happy.
Astral set his brush down when he finished.
"How does it look?" He shifted his page so Simon could see, grinning. It looked like Simon, actually- not perfect, but not bad either.
He smiled. “I like it. You did pretty good.” He complimented.
Astral grinned at the praise, obviously more pleased with himself now.
He chuckled softly, continuing to paint. “I’m almost finished.” It wasn’t exactly super clear what he was painting yet.
Astral nodded some, falling quiet. He didn't want to interrupt the other man. He watched, smiling still as he set his paper aside to dry.
Simon hummed softly as he finished up. He’d always been pretty good at art even though he’d never gotten any official lessons. It’d always been like there was someone there, telling him what to do.
Astral looked up when it seemed Simon was done.
"What did you paint?" He asked, moving over to take a peek.
“Just some random skyline.” He said, which was a bit of an understatement. It was this whole futuristicly styled city skyline. He did a pretty good job with the limited supplies he had.
"Woah…" Astral smiled some as he looked at the painting.
"This is amazing!!" He looked up at Simon, grinning.
