“No, it’s a fact,” I stepped closer to her to give her a kiss on the forehead. “Nothing gets past me for long.”
“No, it’s a fact,” I stepped closer to her to give her a kiss on the forehead. “Nothing gets past me for long.”
“We’ll see about that,” I teased, swiping my tongue briefly over my lower lip.
My eyes flickered to her lips before they went back to her eyes. Vivian took that opportunity to step back.
“Key,” I called to my partner, who stopped nuzzling his mate to look at me. “Take Vivian home. Make sure she’s in her classes before you leave. That’s an order.”
Vivian sighed loudly. So did Key, but he obeyed. Of course he did.
“Bye, Vivian,” I murmured, offering a smile. “See you soon.”
“Don’t let him boss you around, Isabella,” Vivian told my girlfriend. “He’s your boyfriend before he’s the Prince!”
“Yeah, yeah, now go,” I waved her off. She rolled her eyes before climbing on top of Key. “See you tonight, Vivi.”
And then she was gone.
The moment she was gone, I looked Colton straight in the eye, leaned against his hands, and slowly licked my lips. “Kiss me?”
I obliged, because I wanted to kiss her just as much, if not a little more. I firmly clasped our lips together, stepping closer to her, removing any space that was between us.
I took his collar into my hands, pulling him back with me until I was backed against a tree.
Every time I started slow, she’d compel me to kiss her harder. And so I did. I pushed her against the tree, kissing her until the only thing I could feel was her.
I placed my hands on his shoulders, drawing him closer while at the same time keeping the force of the kiss under control. “Colton…” I murmured, already lost in the euphoric sensation his mouth conjured.
I couldn’t say anything. I just pressed against her, lips locked, mouth moving. I could taste her sweetness in my mouth, her tongue brushing against mine and I went crazy.
So I pulled away before the kiss lost its control, my forehead pressed against hers, breathing heavily.
“I love you,” I whispered, looking at her with awe and adoration. “To no end.”
I opened my eyes and looked straight into his—they looked like molten gold. Panting softly, I slipped my hands around his middle. “I love you, too.. I always will..”
“Good,” I murmured, thumb grazing her lip. “I don’t want you being anyone else’s. Just mine. Colton Miller’s.”
I answered by going up on my tip-toes and pressing my mouth to his, slow and tender.
I cupped her cheeks in my hands, kissing her back gingerly, my lips caressing hers. Words could no longer explain what I felt for her. I had no words at all.
In his arms, I felt so warm and safe… I felt loved beyond words, like I belonged. I tried to convey this with my mouth, though I made no sound or attempt to speak as I carefully parted his lips with my own.
I never wanted to be anywhere other than in her arms. I wanted to steal her off, living quietly, where there was no one to look out for, where there was no danger. Where there would just be me and my queen. It was just a dream, but I wanted to be lost in it forever.
So I opened my mouth for my lover and let her explore.
I explored his mouth, moving soft and slow as opposed to ravaging it as he had done to mine many times. My arms wound themselves tighter around his waist, my eyes remained closed. "Colton…"
I groaned into her mouth, hand fisting her hair as I met her tongue. Finally, I pulled away, panting heavily for breath.
“You drive me insane,” I panted harshly. “But I love you for it.”
My eyelids fluttered open. With a breathless, but wicked grin, I pressed my nose to his until our mouths were inches apart.
"Good."
“I wish it was your lips I was kissing,” I murmured, taking in by the grin on her lips. I ached to claim them again, but I held myself back. “Want to release some tension by training, my beautiful queen?”
"Of course," I breathed, and for a brief moment, I allowed to illusion to slip from my features. When it was safely back in place, I stood on my toes and put my mouth close to his ear. "My King…"
I took in a shuddering breath, my hold on her tightening. “I’m beginning to think my suggestion wasn’t a good one, after all,” I said slowly.
I lowered myself back down, tilting my head innocently to the side.
"And what, Your Highness, would you propose as an alternative activity?"
“Do not make me assign you laps like the good old days, my love,” I narrowed my eyes at her teasing. “Trust me, I wouldn’t hesitate.”
