Cas left as soon as Serna explained what happened, clearly worried about Nix. It didn't surprise him that Nix had been upset, especially considering how he'd been treated recently. Nix glanced up when he heard Cas come in.

Derlik looked up when Cas came into the room as well.
"You must be Cas," he said softly, still holding Nix close.

"Uh, yeah… I'm Cas. Is Nix okay?" Cas asked worriedly, walking a little closer. Nix nodded weakly and huddled closer to Derlik.

Derlik nodded a bit. He turned back to Nix, lightly running his fingers through Nix's hair. He sighed softly.

Nix purred weakly and huddled closer to Derlik, his makeup now a bit smudged from crying. Cas sighed softly and sat beside them.

Derlik gently wiped Nix's cheek again. He looked up at Cas again, keeping Nix right next to him. He wanted Nix to feel better, just like everyone else.

Nix stayed completely silent for now with his tail curled around Derlik's leg. He sighed shakily and held tightly to the other.

Derlik rested his head back on Nix, sighing softly. He didn't bother asking how Nix felt, feeling how tight his grip was. Instead, he gently rubbed circles into Nix's back, letting silent as well.

Cas watched them closely, fidgeting a bit with his hands. He hoped that Serna and Zachary would come out soon.

It was a few minutes, but Serna and Zachary finally came in. Zachary narrowed his eyes at Derlik, pudding himself over to Cas's side.

Cas kissed Zachary's cheek softly and relaxed a bit when he came in. "Hey, love…" He murmured. Nix glanced up as well, but kept quiet.

"Hey," Zachary said softly. Derlik raised an eyebrow, looking Zachary up and down.
"What happened?" He asked. He didn't really care if Zachary was okay or not, but he was curious why he was in a wheel chair.

"Halm happened." Cas growled, shifting over to huddle up in Zachary's lap. "He did a lot of shit to all of us, but Nix in particular." He sighed softly.

Derlik sighed a bit. Again, even he could hardly believe Halm had done these things. He scratched behind Nix's ears gently, shaking his head. Zachary wrapped his arms around Cas, gently kissing his cheek.

"I think he shattered him somehow… it took a while to get him back to speaking as well as he is now." Cas rested his head on Zachary's shoulder.

Derlik's eyes widened a bit again.
"That's… surprising. It's rare anyone ever has to go through that nowadays." The gods had learned how to properly alter memories without that happening. Zachary kissed Cas's head lightly, rubbing his head a bit.

Cas huddled a little closer to Zachary and sighed. "Well, I dunno anything about that… I just know that it happened, okay?"

Derlik nodded a bit. He rested his head on Nix gently again. Zachary nuzzled Cas's cheek, kissing him lightly.

Cas buried his face in Zachary's shoulder with a shaky sigh. "I love you…" He whispered softly.

"I love you too," Zachary said softly in turn. He kissed Cas's head, holding him close.

Cas smiled weakly and returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around the other's neck. Nix yawned a bit and buried his face in Derlik's chest.

Zachary's arms went fulling around Cas's waist, letting out a gentle sigh. Derlik ran his fingers through Nix's hair gently.
"How are you feeling?" he asked softly.

Nix shrugged a bit, fidgeting nervously with his hands. "I dunno… kinda dull at the moment. Don't wanna think about anything…"

Nodding, Derlik continued to gently rub Nix.
"I see," he said softly.

"Tired…" Nix murmured weakly. He always got very drained and tired after he'd been crying.
