Zachary smiled, holding Cas close as the other ate.
Zachary smiled, holding Cas close as the other ate.
Cas soon finished his food and huddled up against Zachary's chest with a happy hum.
Zachary smiled, kissing Cas lightly.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Zachary… what should we do now?" Cas asked.
Zachary hummed faintly, thinking. He shrugged a bit.
"Maybe we can go out and get some fresh air? How does that sound, Zachary?" He asked softly.
Zachary nodded a bit. It sounded really good. He smiled.
"Let's head on out, then." Cas smiled softly and kissed Zachary's cheek.
Zachary started out, bringing Cas with him. He hummed faintly, leaning into Cas's a bit as they made their way out of the house.
"Whew… it's a bit chilly." Cas sighed, huddling closer to Zachary once they were outside. "I've got you to keep me warm, though."
Zachary smiled gently, wrapping his arms around Cas securely.
"Yes… I love you~"
Cas smiled as well and cuddled up with Zachary, humming softly to himself. "Mmm… thanks, love."
Zachary let out a soft, contented sound. The area around them was peaceful, the souls resting in the flowers glowing gently. Zachary was as well, a soft light in the darkness of the world around them.
"This place is kinda pretty in its own way, don't you think? Even if it's a little creepy…" Cas hummed softly to himself.
Zachary nodded a bit. He smiled, looking around. It was his home. He loved it, even if it wasn't always the nicest.
"It's really interesting… it's so different than earth, you know? Have you ever been on earth?" Cas asked.
Zachary was quiet a moment, then nodded his head a bit. Yes, he had been to earth. He'd lived there, long, long ago… there was a far away look in his eyes for a moment, but he blinked once and it was gone.
"Mm…" Cas considered quietly for a few seconds. "Did you like it there, Zachary?" He asked curiously.
Zachary nodded. Yes, of course. His family had been there, and his friends and his life. Still… he'd died there, too.
Cas hummed softly to himself and looked up again. "It's… I dunno. It's kind of its own entity, I guess. There's a lot of good and bad."
Zachary let out a gentle breath. It was just like everything else. He kissed Cas's cheek gently.
"I mean, it wasn't great for me, but… I dunno. I had some good memories there. And it was way warmer than this place…"
Zachary nodded a bit. It was a lot warmer. He offered a gentle smile, resting his head on Cas's. He felt useless, not able to talk back.
Cas smiled weakly and huddled closer to Zachary. "I don't really do well with the cold… you've probably noticed."
Zachary wrapped his arms around Cas a bit better, nodding. Yes, he had seen.
