Zachary blinked at the boop, smiling gently. He kissed Cas's finger before he could pull it away. He moved a bit forward to boop Cas's nose in turn.
Zachary blinked at the boop, smiling gently. He kissed Cas's finger before he could pull it away. He moved a bit forward to boop Cas's nose in turn.
Cas smiled and flushed lightly, kissing Zachary and huddling close. "You're so cute… I love you, Zachary~"
"I love you, Sass~," Zachary said with a small smile. He wrapped his hand around Cas again, glad he had calmed down now. He kissed Cas back, relaxing into the wheelchair again.
Cas rested his head on Zachary's shoulder with a gentle smile. "Should we head back out? We haven't had dinner yet…"
Zachary thought a bit, then nodded. He rested his head on Cas's a moment, then wheeled them out of the room. The motion truly was helping him, as his hands weren't jerky or shaky anymore. He hummed softly.
Cas stuck his tongue out a bit as he played with Zachary's hair, humming contentedly to himself. "I don't really know how to cook, so I hope you like sandwiches."
Zachary laughed gently, nodding. That was perfectly fine with him. He brought them to the kitchen, up to the very, very tall counter. He kissed Cas's cheek, half tempted to catch Cas's tongue lightly in his teeth, but decided against it. For now.
"Alright, um… I'll try and figure out where everything is…" Cas got up out of Zachary's lap and started rooting around the kitchen for things. He had to climb up onto the counter to get the bread, but then seemed to be nervous to get down. The counter felt very high to him, after all.
Zachary looked up when he saw Cas couldn't get down. He thought a morning, then went to get a chair, dragging it over as he pushed himself because to Cas. He set the chair down, mistiming for Cas to use it to get down.
Cas hesitated before stepping down onto the chair, his heart pounding. He held the bread close to his chest as he carefully got down and crawled into Zachary's lap to relax for a moment.
Zachary put his hands stone Cas a moment, letting out a soft hum. He'd done good, he'd handled himself well. He rubbed Cas's back, kissing his head with a soft anime.
Cas took a couple minutes to relax before he got back up and started making the sandwiches. "What kind of sandwich do you want, love?"
Zachary shrugged a bit, thinking a moment.
"Ham," he finally said. He had a much better handle on combining sounds he could already make, it seemed.
Cas nodded and made Zachary a ham sandwich, making a turkey one for himself before sitting back down in Zachary's lap.
Zachary put his arms around Cas, humming softly. He nuzzled Cas's head lightly.
"Do you want me to feed you, Zachary?" Cas asked softly, holding Zachary's sandwich up to him.
Zachary sighed a bit. Want? No. Need? Well… He nodded a bit, blushing faintly.
Cas smiled softly, still holding the sandwich up to Zachary's mouth. "Here you go, love. Don't worry about it."
Zachary leaned his head forward, taking a small bite. He did his best to keep his lips closed, doing much better than before. Things were looking up.
"You're doing great, love." Cas kissed Zachary softly before taking a bite of his own sandwich. "Is it good?"
Zachary nodded as he swallowed. Yes, it was very good. He smiled a bit.
"Glad you like it~" Cas helped Zachary finish his sandwich before he continued eating his own. "What should we do after this?"
Zachary thought a moment. Cuddle, maybe? Everyone else was already asleep. He finally shrugged a bit, wrapping his arms and Cas again.
Cas smiled softly and cuddled up against Zachary. "Maybe we should just head to bed as well. It's not like there's much else to do."
Zachary nodded a bit. He started pushing them out of the kitchen, kissing Cas's head lightly.
