( @SwimwithGamers_is_a_Coral_snek_now , here we go! I hope the set-up is acceptable. )

(You don't have to write this much if you don't want to, I just like having a firm starting point QwQ)

Felix hurried about the cafe, serving food and taking orders. His hair, which had been tied neatly back at the beginning of the day, was beginning to fall into his eyes. He blew away a strand with a small huff, setting the latest order- a chocolate frappe with whipped cream and a french vanilla cappuccino- down, speaking as little as he could get away with. He made his way to the back again, pausing for a moment. What if Dashan-
"Felix!" His boss barked, pulling Felix out of the daydream before he was lost in it. "Table nine is still waiting on their order!"
"Yessir," Felix said quickly. That's how it went most days; Felix would work diligently for an hour, but taper off soon after. Everyone who worked at the cafe helped him out, though, reminding him what needed to be done and keeping him from getting lost in his thoughts. He sighed a little, going back out.

That night, Felix set his things down at the entrance to his home, kicking his shoes off and flopping down on the couch. Almost immediately, he pulled his notebook and special pen out.
"Thanks, ma," he said quietly as he took the pen out. He did that every time, just to remind himself how much his mother loved him. He flipped the notebook open, rereading the last few pages of what he had written to catch himself back up.

( Back! I get it, I like that too, sometimes. )

On the notebook, pages of Dashan's current adventure were filled. Apparently, Dashan had found his special katana, something that he would come to cherish much more later on. He also ended up with a redeveloped outfit, which was much more lighter than before. That tank top and pants was much more suitable than his original heavy coat.

Dashan, where he was left, was holding onto the katana, and he was admiring his reflection in the silver of its blade. His dual-colored eyes laid themselves upon their own reflection, and it caused a smile to place itself onto Dashan's face. He clearly loved the thing, and it seemed to be a part of his soul.

( I hope this works! )

(It's great!)
Felix tapped his pen against his lip as he read, a smile flickering softly across his face when Dashan did. He could almost see himself in Dashan's place, looking at the katana with such fondness. He placed the tip of his pen to the paper, beginning to write.
Dashan stared at the katana for a moment longer, holding it close.
"What will you call it?" One of his companions asked.
"It's name is… Felix stopped writing there, thinking. What would a good name for the sword be? Every famous sword had a name of some sort.

(I was figuring here Dashan would come up with/already know a name before Felix, but Felix would decide on another name and Dashan would realize something was up when he said a name different than the one he wanted. Sound good?)

( Of course! )

"It's name is Ebonblade." Dashan replied, to his friend. "Oh, that's cool, Dashan. It sounds super epic." His friend cheered, clearly with a small sense of admiration. Dashan smiled, though he felt a little odd about it. 'I didn't name it that, it was supposed to be Thorne.' He thought, to himself. "Yeah," He began, trying to come back to where he thought he'd have been. "I named it after Ebony, that precious black stone." He said, somewhat factually. He couldn't shake the feeling that it had another name, and he was sure it did.

Felix smiled to himself, feeling clever for coming up with the name. Thorne had come to mind first, but he didn't really like that. Besides, Ebonblade was a cooler name in general. He laid back on the couch as he wrote, stretching out and resting the notebook on the couch. When he pulled the blanket over himself, however, he knocked the notebook off.
For Dashan, he'd feel like everything was falling, then the harsh jolt of the notebook hitting the ground. The other people around him seemed to freeze for a moment too, since Felix wasn't writing.
"Oh!" Felix said.

The friend was about to say something, before suddenly, they stopped for a minute. Dashan's face twisted with a slight confusion, before he felt something. 'Mmf-' was about the sound he made, he tried to keep it quiet. The world seemed like it fell down for a second, without being crushed at all. 'There must have been an accident.'. Dashan thought, about the way the notebook crashed into the floor. He hoped that's all it was.

( This roleplay has me smiling so much, it's so unique- )

(^w^)

Felix reached down from where he had gotten comfy on the couch, dusting off the notebook a little with a sigh. He was about to start writing again when he stopped.
"Hm?" He said quietly, out loud. There, on the page and not in his handwriting, was the word "mmf-." Felix was a little confused. It was still in pen, though, so he couldn't erase it. He still didn't start writing, puzzling over this.
"Where did this come from?" He touched the word with his thumb, biting his lip a little.

( Finally back! )

Dashan felt as if his head had been pressed on, and he rubbed the back of his neck. "Ah, man, this really doesn't feel normal." He muttered. He looked down to his weapon. Atleast it still looked the same. He helf a disgruntled expression, and honestly was unsure of what anything meant. 'Please let this figure itself out,' He thought.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

(Yey!)

Felix's eyes widened in shock. "Ah, man, this really doesn't feel normal." Those words appeared right next to the "mmf-" in the same handwriting. He threw the notebook across the room in a panic. The spine slammed into the wall, making it feel like Dashan had been slammed into a wall, and then it tumbled down to the ground and landed face down. Normally, this wouldn't mean much, but now the entire world was bathed in darkness for Dashan.

Dashan let out a loud shout as he began to feel another random ripple of pain. "What the heck is wrong with me!?" He asked, loudly. He looked around for his friend, and for the surroundings, but it had been all turned black. He whimpered, softly. "Someone please tell me what's going on.." He muttered, letting a little weakness shine through his strong side.

Felix was breathing heavily, staring at the notebook. A thousand questions and scenarios raced through his mind- what was going on?! Very, very slowly, he got up from the couch and made his way over to the fallen notebook. He picked it up gingerly between thumb and forefinger, and it dangled sideways. His eyes widened again when he saw the new writing.
"What's going on?" he whispered. He carried the notebook over to the table, setting it down quickly.

Dashan's world wobbled a little bit as Felix made his way to the table, and it settled down as soon as the notebook went still. "Dear me, a God just answered a prayer-" He muttered, looking around him. "I uh- thank you!" He yelped. He didn't really believe in that kind of intervention, but as it seems, he might have to change his opinion.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Felix stared at the notebook silently, mouth open slightly. This was crazy. This was absolutely nuts.
"W-What?" He said. This time, Dashan would be able to hear him- it'd be like Felix's words were coming through water, but Dashan would still be able to hear him. Felix sat back down on the couch, not sure whether to bend down low to read what would appear next or stay far, far away from the notebook.

"Hey, who are you, deity?" Dashan asked, to the voice. He looked around, trying to find the someone who was speaking to him. He couldn't find anyone, not one thing that looked like it was his supposed maker. "Or, um, am I supposed to introduce myself first?" He asked.

Deleted user

"I-I'm Dashan. Dashan Wang Atwood, a-at your service." Dashan said. He let himself stutter a little bit. "Where are you?" He asked, with another lost glance around himself. The voice sounded like it was all around him, where were they at?

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Oh. That made sense, for Felix to be talking to Dashan. Mostly. Sort of.
"In my living room, holding my notebook." Felix didn't bother asking where Dashan was- he already knew that. "What… happened to you? Earlier, that is."

Deleted user

"Like, I was talking with my friend, and all the sudden I felt something odd. Like, it felt like I jumped a little, and I felt conflicted about something. Three seconds later, bam, I fell into this darkness and I'm hearing you. I'll admit, my head kinda hurts a little." Dashan explained, simply as he could. Honestly, he knew he sounded mad. "It sounds crazy but it happened, for real."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Felix nodded along as he read Dashan's words, even though Dashan couldn't see him.
"I see," Felix said. He was starting to get an idea of why this was happening to Dashan, but he needed to test it… He took the notebook up slowly in both hands, flat, then turned it upside down to see how it affected Dashan.

( You're fine! Just a bit of bad stomach pain and whatnot. Honestly couldn't even change shirts this morning though! It was awful! )

Dashan was about to reply with something, before his whole world got turned upside down. He almost lost his sense of which side was up. "The gravity's gone a little topsy-" He said, before feeling like he might fall in any given direction. "-turvy! What're you doing?" He asked. He almost sounded excited about it, as if he wanted to fly before then.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

(oooo, I'll be praying for you)

"Hmm," Felix said quietly to himself. He tilted his head a bit to read when Dashan said, then turned the notebook right side up.
"Nothing you need to know," He addressed Dashan. He wasn't about to say anything to give himself away, not when Dashan didn't seem to realize who Felix was.
