Chiara was up long before the sun, a pistol in her purse and a determined look on her face. She’d gotten so used to being shot that it had been simple to extract the bullet form her arm and bandage up the wound, it wasn’t deep or serious even if it hurt.
Cole had slept on his couch that night after he had put the bandages on his wound and pulled out the bullet. He looked at the time and realized he had to get to his other job that wasn't assassinating people. He quickly grabbed his coat and backpack and put a hat on then walked down the all of the building walked into an empty apartment and jumped out the window. He was then on the street behind his building and walked.
Chiara had her eyes set on Cole’s building, but she waited and waited and he didn’t emerge. Growling in frustration, she turned on her heel and began searching the streets.
He walked down the street and went into the back entrance of a coffee shop. He clocked in and put on his apron and went up to the counter.
Finally, she gave up and decided that she needed some caffeine. Making sure the gun was safely hidden, Chiara stride confidently back up the street and a few blocks down until she reached the nearby coffee shop. She pushed the door open, forcing a carefree expression onto her face, and went up to the front counter. Immediately, she froze. It was him.
He was chatting to a customer after he gave them their coffee a bit till they walked to a table. "Can I have the next customer!" He yelled and was looking at the cash register.
Chiara cleared her throat roughly, trimg to figure out how to successfully shoot him without anyone noticing.
Cole looked up and noticed her but decided to ignore the fact that she wanted him dead "next I said." Cole repeated looking right at her.
Chiara looked him dead in the eyes and moved on to his colleague, who was at the cash register next to him. “I’ll have a dark chocolate mocha, please.”
He watched his colleague put the order in the cash register then look at him to make the drink. Cole nodded and made the drink easily then put it on the counter for her.
Chiara took it and payed without so much as a second glance at him, turning and finding a seat. She gritted her teeth, taking a sip.
He watched her for a moment then talked to His co-worker for a while. Helping customers every once in awhile. Soon enough his shift was over. He walked in the back grabbed his stuff and walked out.
Chiara straightened as soon as she saw Cole leave, quickly gathering her stuff to do the same. How do I shoot him in broad daylight?? She was out the door in a few seconds, following him closely.
He walked down the street and looked down at his phone. Then stopped walking and turned to look at her. "A good assassin would know other ways of killing other than a gun." He said to her then pulled out a knife.
Chiara stopped walking, arching a dark eyebrow. “A knife is short range. And I know martial arts, I know the pressure points of the human body, I know how to successfully poison, suffocate, and otherwise wipe you off the face of the earth. And you’re really going to do this in broad daylight? Stab me with a knife?”
"no not preferably." He said then looked at his phone. "I have to get home my…. Babysitter has to leave." He said quickly. Really it was a cat sitter but who cares. He nodded then started walking.
Chiara gritted her teeth. “I don’t recall you having a child.”
He stopped and laughed a bit. "I like to call her my child sometimes. But I don't believe she actually is a child." He said and walked to his home.
(How Do you want them to start interacting more? I’m not super sure what to do w Chiara)
(maybe both of them start getting hunted down by a assassin that is in the shadows but like you could go home and see your apartment a mess and try to kill him in his apartment. Something like that)
(Sure)
Chiara refrained from growling in frustration as she unlocked the door to her apartment and stomped in. What she saw made her freeze. The apartment was a mess. The couch was torn up, the drawers were open, her personal items were spilled over the floor. Someone had been through her home. They could still be there.
(This good?)
(Yeah)
Cole walked in to his apartment and found his kitten sleeping on the couch. He sat down and looked around he was bored. he decided to go sit at his table and sharpen some knives. before he did so he made sure to turn on the lights he didn't want to mess up his knives by sharpening them wrong.
Chiara hoisted her gun and thoroughly checked her house for intruders. After finding no one, she left for Coles apartment, seething with rage.
Cole sat at his table with a bunch of knives scattered around the table. He held one sharpening it. Not realizing that he never locked his door, but didn't care nobody ever visited.
