Cole walked into the store found the cat food and bought it. He put it in his backpack then walked down the street a bit more and turned down to another street that was almost completely empty.

Chiara kept her shoulders drawn up and hair hair in front of her face, so that even in the dark he wouldn’t be able to see her face. Her fingers brushed the gun hidden in her bag, a reminder of what she’d been sent to do.
He could tell someone was following him so he bent down to tie his shoes and made sure to secretly slip his gun in his pocket. When he stood up he kept walking like normal.
Chiara caught a flash of metal when the man crouched to tie his shoelace, but it was too dark to pinpoint exactly what it was. Keys? A weapon? Setting her jaw, she jogged forward and past him, pretending to be in a hurry before suddenly pausing at the streetlight ahead of him as if she was frantically checking her bag for whether or not she’d forgetten something.
He noticed the girl run forward and held his gun in his pocket and kept walking forward. Step by step he got closer to where she was.
Her fingers closed around the handle of the gun. She frowned, pretending to rummage around further until the footsteps of the man were barely two metres away—— and whipped around, during a bullet.
Cole pulled out the guy. And pointed it at her. "I would rather you not kill me. I got to get back to my man." (His man is his kitty)

Oof Typo Sorry
Chiara took a step forward, her arm never dipping. “And I need you dead.”
She pulled the trigger.
He felt the bullet hit him near the shoulder and quickly pulled the trigger of his gun.
As soon as she pulled the trigger, Chiara ducked in case he shot back, but the bullet still grazed her shoulder. Used to the pain, she raised the gun again.
He kept holding his gun up ignoring the blood and pain. "So how is your day." He asked Out of nowhere.
“It’ll be fine once you’re dead.” Chiara took one more step towards him, her gaze level and determined, unshaken, unafraid.
"well I guess then my day is not going well." He said then pulled the trigger to shoot her
The bullet buried itself in Chiara’s arm just as she fired her own gun. She lurnched to the side, putting the lamp post between them.
He jumped back and leaned against the wall. "Do you want to take a quick break from killing each other?" he asked half sarcastically.
“Why would I do that?” She asked, gritting her teeth, through the pain and shifting the gun to her uninjured arm.
"How about we first go to dinner before we kill eachother?" He joked his voice slightly projecting his pain.
“What??” Chiara’s face contorted. “No, I really need to kill you.” She raised the gun to shoot when suddenly— sirens. The police were headed their way.
He shook his head then walked away down the street. He didn't want to chance being caught by the police.
Chiara angrily shoved the gun back down into her bag and set off for her apartment, wincing in pain when her injured arm shifted. She walked briskly past Cole— that had been his name on the file, right?— not giving him a second glance.
Cole walked to his apartment as quick as he could ignoring the girl. He walked into the building unlocked the apartment then locked once he was inside.
