Devon waved her suggestion off, "I just…" he muttered, before promptly sitting down, his legs giving out under him.
June appeared across the room, rolling her eyes , "you can't avoid your need to survive". she watched her twin.

Cavendish kneels next to Bane, using their non-broken hand to force him to look at them.
"So I know I'm still alive. That I can feel. And so what if I die? I'll come back. I always come back, Bane. And if the hand was removed? Prosthetics exist for that very reason. I can afford it. I have insurance, anyways." they say.
Bane forced them to let go of his face. "Killing someone close to me takes a toll. I think you would understand, mon ami." He sneered. He stood up and went over the Devon, sitting next to him. "Are you alright? You look unwell. Are you trying to split yourself in two?" He grabbed Devon's hand, trying to give comfort to him. "You can't avoid yourself. It never works. I've tried, but I always return to my instincts."
Devon flinched when Bane took his hand, he didn't want to face the truth, he did this every time. Unlike June, he couldn't live off of negative energy, and he choose not to live off any energy, instead he basically had to kill to stay alive, which he hated, he prefered the life of pacifism.
Cavendish lets their hand fall.
"I do understand. . ." they murmur, but Bane's already up and moving, away from them.
Naize growled deeply when his sister came over
Bane said in a low whisper to Devon. "You can't live like this, and you know that. I've noticed how you stay away from everyone, swallowing your own urges. For you, it's not healthy. Taking the lives of animals is easier and keeps the notion from murdering your own mind. That's the only compromise you can make. None of us want you to die."
Bane leaned his head against the wall. "I notice how you look at Naize. You like cute little animals. I know you probably won't take the life of anything in this world, but you need something to keep you alive. You can't just keep slowly killing yourself." He tried to make his words gentle. He didn't know much about what Devon was facing, but he wanted to help. Bane wanted to be helpful. He squeezed the boy's hand, then let go and got up, about ready to go do something else.
Devon sighed, he knew Bane was right, even if the hell hound didn't know what he was going through, he had a point. He was surprised that Bane noticed his like for cute things. Not even his sister noticed that. He needed to do something though he was feeling much to weak to stand, much less kill.
Naize huffed and shifted, running to the door
Cavemdish slowly walks over.
"C'mon, Dev. Let's go." they murmur, gently pulling him up and guiding him to the door.
Naize would help him kill, her claws bared and teeth showing
Devon allowed himself to be pulled, focusing on not drawing energy from the contact. He didn't want to do that.
Cavendish looks over, noting the faded color of Dev's skin, the bags under his eyes.
"Can you take energy and strength from things?" they ask softly.
Devon looked at the ground, not wanting to admit it. He moved away from Cavendish, nearly falling back down. June rolled her eyes, "you are going to die if you keep fighting it…well.. not die…but you won't like it" she chuckled.
Naize watched tentatively “ he can take as much as he needs from me if we're outside
Bane stood up, watching the other help Devon from afar. He smiled and took throwing knives off of his belt. He was going to see how far he could throw them. He threw all the knives he had quickly in 45 seconds. They stuck to the wall, and he got bored. He went to pull them all his knives out of the wall and put them back on his belt. He shadow travel to the others, appearing in their location, the shadows wafting off of him. "How's it going? It doesn't seem well. If fact, the kid seems sicker then he was."
June appeared beside Devon, grabbing his arm forcefully. "come on." she pulled him, he stumbled towards her, unable to fight back, he glared.
“ excuse me! We fucking had him!” naize yelled at June
Bane grabbed Naize's arm. "Leave it. Yelling at her will do nothing. Someone had to teach me that, so now I will teach you." He let go of her before he got a punch to the face. That would be the last thing he would want. He didn't like it when someone attacked him for no reason. It sparked his anger.
Naize was practically fuming, the ground around her feet now black
Devon looked at them, his eyes showing how much he did not want to go with her. June pulled him away from them, heading to the shadows with the intent of taking him away.
“ hah! I don't fucking think so. He stays here!” she snapped
Bane closed his eyes, gritting his teeth. The sent of death floated all around him. This was common for a hellhound. They were death dogs. They could sense when death took place. They could sense when it was or who it was. They could sense if you were going to die or were dying. He took a deep breath, "June. Let your brother go. Now. He can make his own choices." He used his command ability. This ability made anyone he used it on do what he said; bend to his will. He hated using that ability and never wanted to use it again. The cold shadows lingered around him, feeling icy against his skin.
June released her brother, causing him to fall suddenly. "fine" she disappeared into the shadows.
Bane's ear twitched in annoyance. He never did like her, no matter how hard he tried. She was rouge, worse than himself. Bane helped Devon up, looking him up and down. "Are you alright?" He inquired. "What do you need to get your strength back?"
