Marco nodded, not sure what to make of his feirce tone. "I guess I'll have to do some wall inspection too…" he said softly.
Marco nodded, not sure what to make of his feirce tone. "I guess I'll have to do some wall inspection too…" he said softly.
"Yeah…" Oci nodded, his brow creased. "If you want, I think there's enough time to go do a quick check now, if you want? It would have to be quick, and I'd have to have a disguise on or something, but we could do it."
Marco hummed, "Might be a good idea…."
"Alright, then, we're going. Do whatever you need to do right now, and I'm going to make myself look less like Ocean Kage." Oci smiled at Marco, then turned and walked towards his bedroom. He had a few magical items that could change how he looked, luckily, or he wouldn't be able to go with Marco. And he wanted to go with Marco. He wanted to keep Marco with him for as long as possible.
Marco nodded, first moving to grab his shoes, then double-check his lock picking kit, because ever self-respecting thief has one. Waiting for Ocean near the door, hood up, and somehow appearing like himself, but also not.
Oci walked out of the bedroom, his skin tingling slightly from the magic. He'd changed the color of his eyes to a simple blue, and covered up the sea foam color in his hair. His freckles had also disappeared, and he'd changed his coat to one with a hood. As Oci walked to the door, he pulled the hood up, plunging the upper part of his face into shadow. "Ready?"
(My mom found me on notebook, again, but I think I'm okay as long as I limit my hours to during school and at my dads since it's linked to a secret google account.)
(Okay!)

Marco nodded, shifting into a cat and slipping outside, turning into an alley further down the streets before picking up his pace.
"Okay, then. I hope he waits up for me." Oci muttered, quickly closing and locking the door and hurrying after Marco. "Come on, do you even know where you're going?" His voice was playful as he turned into an alley. "Ah, well, I'll get there when I get there." Oci glanced over his shoulder, keeping an eye out for any guards that might try and catch him or Marco.
Marco knew mostly where he was going, and kept going along the back alleys so as to avoid attention.
Oci was glad he put on the disguise, because there were a few times when a guard glanced at him. But hooded figures slipping between alleys was a common enough occurrence that they didn't give him a second glance. He continued on, hoping that he really was following Marco and hadn't lost him in the maze of back roads.
(Sorry!! I lost this by accident…)
Marco eventually made it to the right spot, and waited in an alley nearby for Oci to catch up, observing the crowd quietly in cat form.
(Oof… You're good!)
Oci managed to catch up to Marco and stood beside him, watching the people around him as well. "I'll just be waiting here, I guess. Don't get caught." He glanced down at the cat for a few seconds. "And… Be safe."
Marco nodded, giving him a soft mewl before hopping down and darting across the street, wandering into a nearby alley near the house, nosing along the wall as if he was looking for a mouse.
Oci watched him go, sending a silent prayer after him. Hopefully the gods would listen. To avoid looking extremely suspicious, Oci sat down on a crate and pulled a crumpled up hat from his pocket. He placed it on the ground and leaned back. He might even make some money in this time!
