“None taken.” she shrugs, letting her arms fall to her sides. “Just don't go easy on me. I need to toughen up a bit. As for hurling rocks… Yeah, I can do that. But so can everyone with or without earth abilities. And the air is too dry here for a tidal wave… Maybe if I was near an actual water source of some kind, I could.” Clarissa explains. “Sorry if I was a disappointing opponent.”

RinRin sighs. "Not disappointing, just boring right now." He concentrates. "As for the setting…" The next thing they know, all of them are at a battle area on the beach. "With the Mind element, I can teleport." He chuckles. "Shall we?"

Clarissa looks around in surprise, feeling a rush of energy from the fresh environment. She matches his grin and nods as she reaches out to the water. “Let's see if you’ll regret this.”
The water reacts and a wall of water swells, easily reaching higher than her stone creature and water elemental combined. And still growing.

RinRin gives no indication in his face of any change in emotion. He builds up a Mind shield and prepares to teleport and clone. She will probably anticipate the teleport, but not the clones. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
"Maybe we can finally have a true test of your powers." Portals! That's genius. He opens with a simple attack; a blast of fire and a curtain of darkness. Clone. Then he prepares a geyser of fire(lol the irony) underneath her for the clones destruction. RinRin hides in the Realm Between Ethereal And Real. "Heh heh." He throws ten flaming spheres and ten spheres of darkness at Clarissa, waiting for her counterattack.

With the size of the wave, she didn't care about his teleport since it would still cover a wide area. Though her brow furrows as she forces it to be even larger before finally bringing it down and keep its form on the beach so it doesn't withdraw to the ocean yet. It's much easier for her to form a pocket of air around herself to keep from drowning or being crushed but she doesn't accommodate RinRin yet as she wants to see what he’ll do.

(I’m aware but she doesn't know. And I don't know how she would attack someone who wasn't on the same “plane” as her…)
RinRin dispels the clone and watches as she looks around in confusion, trying to locate him. After a few moments, he dropped out of the Realm Between six feet above her. She stumbles when he lands on her. RinRin rolls away when she is down. "Let's make this a little more short range, shall we?"

Clarissa lost her focus on the water and her air pocket as she was ambushed, coughing up water as RinRin backs away from her. “You… jerk,” she growls as she catches her breath, climbing back to her feet. With both of them back on the ground, she brings the water to mix with the sand beneath him causing him to sink. “First time making homemade quicksand…”
RinRin looks at his feet. "Really?" he says, not scared. He teleports back up and floats a few inches above the ground. "Have you forgotten?"
(you gotta throw something sharp and semi-difficult to dodge like a horizontal rain of spikes, trust me its part of the story and realization of smth important)
