“Alright.” Clarissa smiled back. “Then I have to say, what I actually saw of the fight was also very impressive. How long have you two known each other?”

"Just since today." Seirá giggles, tossing the ball in the air and catching it.

"By the way, that move, the giant beam of light? That is a toned down version of the move. It's called 'Heavenfall,' for good reason." she adds.

"Not long, but I can't rid myself of the feeling I know her." RinRin's arm twitches. "Listen, I read that guys mind. He's hiding over yonder waiting for someone else to battle, so he can write it down." He shifts his feet. "Smart, but tedious. Hope you don't mind me asking, but Clarissa, would you be down for an ability test? I'm going to show you both what I can do."

Clarissa hums a little, finding the whole situation unusual but nods at the question. “Sure. I don't have a problem with that. Did you want to go first?” she asked him as she started stretching.

RinRin smiles, putting his hat on. He walks back into the clearing, and turns, facing Clarissa. "Ladies first." He summons his staff from ethereal space and stands at the ready.

Clarissa shrugs and follows him to the clearing. “Nice knowing you,” she smirked before closing her eyes and focusing on the environment around her. Don't actually want to hurt the guy so… Let's just hope he can fly. Her eyes snapped open as two words echoed.

”Geyser Blast!”

The ground underneath RinRin rumbled before an eruption of water launched him a very good distance straight up into the air and kept him there.

RinRin is surprised when he gets shot up into the sky by a geyser of water, but he's already prepared before she attacks. He allows the water to carry him up, and he stays there. He throws up a shield around him and remains floating, even after the geyser dies down. He chuckles. "Nice." He bows, which looks funny while floating 20 feet off the ground.

"Knock Knock."

He throws a wave of fire from his hand at her, simultaneously having a taste of darkness from his shadow snake into the ground. Under the surface, it lay behind her, waiting for RinRin's command. Then he dispels the Mind shield and throws up a raging hot Fire shield.

Seirá smiles as she watches RinRin and Clarissa start their duel.

"Hope you win!" she calls out to the woman.

Clarissa smiles, chuckling at RinRin’s theatrics and raises a brow at his second comment. “Who’s there- WHOA!” she yelps in surprise at the fire, leaping away from the fire and quickly summoning a gale of wind to push the fire it away from her.

“Alright. Fair play.” she laughs, respecting the return surprise attack. “Have fun with this!”

She gave RinRin a smirk as she knelt down and placed a hand on the earth in front of her. Come to my aid, Son of Earth

The ground shook again at her call as a humanoid creature of rock rose up in between her and RinRin until it reached 20 feet tall. It's gaze seemed focused on RinRin as it took a lumbering step toward him, raising a first to knock him down.

RinRin smiles with obvious humor. "A rock monster. How adorable," he says as he rises further into the air, out of reach of the monster. "Unfortunately, it won't be that simple." He allows the darkness to thicken underground, and wraps a Mind barrier around Clarissa, restricting her movement. Easy to dispel, if you know how. He allows a small amount of darkness to encircle Clarissa's ankles, and does the same with the rock monster, draining its power. Around the monster's feet, a bubble of darkness erupts from the ground and encases the monster. After a few seconds, the darkness disappears, and there are no signs of the existence of the creature, except the footprints. "As for who's there?" He chuckles.

"Not you."

He wills the darkness to circle Clarisse. But to his surprise, it doesn't work. He tries over and over. It doesn't.
Is she resistant to Dark elements?
The Mind barrier dispels as his frustration increases.
