He softened his voice for her, wishing he could scream at his father. "She's not dead. So put her down." Viktor sneered.

The devil dropped her making her wince

“Thank you.” He said in an overly formal tone.

The devil gagged and left the room

Viktor watched him leave and ran over to Ravenna. “Oh my- what can I do?”

She groaned in pain

“Shhh, you’re going to be alright.” He tried to comfort her. “We need to get out of here now…” Viktor muttered to himself.

" Go! Then' she said

“I’m not going. I mean for your sake we need to leave.” He whispered.

"victor I can't walk" she said

“I’ll carry you. I’ll do anything I can.” He said desperately.

She shook her head

"Why not? I'm trying to protect you." He cried softly.

She wrapped her arms around him holding him close

He frowned and held her close. "Come on, let's get out of this room."

She nodded

He picked her up, ready to fend off anyone. "You're going to be OK."

" can I lie down for a.little.bit please" she begged

"Yes, of course." He kissed her softly, carrying her out.

She nodded

He brought her to his room, and set her on his bed. "Rest, I'll get a plan together."

She nodded closing her eyes

"Sleep well." He whispered before pacing around.

"Is it bothering you?" He asked stopping to look at her.
