(Sorry I fell asleep on the couch! XD)
Firiko nodded and began helping to put the puzzle together.
(Sorry I fell asleep on the couch! XD)
Firiko nodded and began helping to put the puzzle together.
(Lol, I've been doing stuff, so it's kinda good! :3)
Tobias watched as Firiko helped him out, which kind of got him wondering several things. "What kind of stuff do you do to entertain? There has to be something you do… Of some sort…." I bet he's just as busy as Megan– he looks about her age…
Firiko laughed, "Most of the time I'm helping my brother," he answered, "It's usually pretty time consuming, so any quiet moments are welcome in between, but if I'm not busy helping Luma i'll usually be training, But I can't risk doing that here."
"Training? You mean like fighting training?" Tobias raised his eyebrows. It sounds like that world is better than mine… I always run out of new things to do and not enough happens around here…
"Yeah, and magic training." Said Firiko, "But don't get the wrong idea, it might have said that thatgs what I do for fun, But its only fun because I'm sparring with friends. But we all do it because we all know that sometime or another the skills we hone in freindly matches, could save our lives later. and they have, If I didn't know how to fight I'd be dead long ago. And the same goes for my friends…"
"I know… Megan says she should teach me self-defense, yet she thinks I'm strong enough and smart enough to have common sense about it." He finished off at least a quarter of the puzzle when he stopped for a moment. "…. I guess I'm strong… But I don't have a lot of muscle…"
"Be glad you don't live in my world," said firiko, "Is all i'm going to say on the subject. Now do wanna help me with this bit? It has me muddled…" he said pointing to a bunch of flower patterned pieces.
"Oh… Of course…" He splayed out all the flowery pieces so that none were overlapping. "This trips people up, this strange pattern-type thing…. But the picture sometimes helps…" With the help of the picture and his brain power, he was able to fit together all of them into the bulk of the finished puzzle. "See?" Tobias gave Firiko a small smile. "Just like that."
Firiko gave him a grin, "Now lets see about finishing this up shall we?"
(Timeskip till megan gets home?)
(Sure thing….)
Megan finally returned, and she let out a groaning sigh. "Today was alright…. Had another argument with a coworker…" She muttered, heading to her office. She saw Skye sitting at her computer, and she smiled warily. "I'm glad you were able to type for me…" She set her bag down near the doorway. All I need to do is print stuff…
"Sure thing" smiled Skye, "I'm just lucky it wasn't hard to figure out how to use this thing…"
"Yeah… I'm sure Tobias taught you well!" She laughed a little, approaching the computer. She saved the document before doing much else. "Too bad this has to go on for a few more days…" She sighed. "Life gets kinda tough… But… Oh well."
"It's no Problem!" said Skye standing up and stretching. "Is there anything else you need doing?"
"For right now, not really…" Megan shook her head. "But I suppose I should start cooking up some food–" She stopped herself before she was fully out of the room. "Erm…. You don't have any specific deitary restrictions, do you?" I know you may seem normal, but… I need to make sure….
"Not that I know of" Said Skye, "We might have different tastes, but I don't think any of us has ever had any allergies to food, and if one of us does we do have a Solaris handy" he said gesturing to Firiko,
"…Solaris?" Megan asked, a bit confused. "Do you mind explaining to me what that is…?" She went over into the kitchen and began to have a gander of what kind of stuff she had to work with. Hm…. Maybe we'll have to have something else…
"A solaris is a species of wolf," answered Firiko,
"Wolves in our world are both sentient and civilized, and it isn't uncommon to find halfblood wolves." continued Skye who looked over at Rio who was still nose in book.
"It seems like I need an education as much as you guys…." She muttered to herself, pulling a box of dry white rice from a cabinet. "What sounds good to eat right now?… I usually ask Tobias, but you guys are the guest, so…" I wouldn't be surprised if they want a full-fledged feast or something…
"Anything is fine," said Skye, "And seriously if you have questions about us feel free to ask,"
Firiko nodded in agreement,
Megan nodded. "Then I guess chicken and rice it is…." She put some water in a pot and put it on the stove to boil.
Tobias finally finished the puzzle with Firiko, and he leaned back and smiled. "That wasn't so hard, now was it?…" He glanced around, and he saw that Rio was still reading that book, although he was sure that he was the one who wanted to keep him busy. I wonder what he's up to… I never read that book before, I don't think…
Rio flipped through a few more pages, everything else was blocked out as he read about how the main character (Jim) fought the pirate to get the boat back to shore, (real book, I've read it).
Skye sat down in the middle of the room and let his aura swirl in the palm of his hands, Normally he was good at precision in the large scale, but small scale he was a little shaky. so he began to practice shaping the aura ball into the shape of different creatures, each in extreme detail.
(Ooh intriguing :3)
Megan was busy in the kitchen making stuff, and Tobias managed to move the puzzle nicely and neatly to the coffee table in the living room. He found Skye messing with some form of magic, and he had a seat across from him and watched him, yet didn't say anything. Natural forms of entertainment are always the best…
Skye smiled when he saw Tobias watching, then he willed the aura to take the form of a small dragon, then he left the dragon fly over to Tobias, and sit on Tobias' shoulder.
Tobias grinned, but was slightly scared to be curious about the strange, floating dragon made from stuff. He gently reached up with his hand and touched it, a bit curious. I wonder….
The aura dispersed a little at Tobias touch and the little dragon crawled down Tobias' arm as it reformed, the little dragon itself seemed to be a smal creature with swirling space dust in it, seeing as it was midnight blue with it's body swirling with hues of blue and purple, and silver strands. Skye smiled, "That's magic for you, It won't hurt you." he said with a grin.
