"I feel bad for her. Also, I technically should have broken a bone or two in my lifetime based on the things I've done but I haven't for some reason." Yesim said.

“You just have that invincibility cheat code activated,” Teya winked.
"So you think life is a video game?" Yesim blushed slightly.
Teya hesitated, looking at Teya for a moment before shrugging, “Let’s just say I don’t entirely discount the idea that this is just a simulation, a game perhap.”
"That's cool. Why do you think so?" Yesim asked curiously.
Teya shrugged, “It just seems a little too perfect at times, and then all of a sudden, it’s a little too imperfect.”
"I agree." Yesim nodded along.
“Yeah?” Excitement crept into Teya’s voice. She didn’t know every many clearly very intelligent, intellectual people who agreed with her.
"Yep." Yesim nodded again.
“Cool. I don’t meet many smart people who agree with me.”
"Are you saying I'm smart? Because if you are, you are very wrong."
“Well, yes, I am, and yes, you are.”
"I'm not smart. I didn't get into Advanced Math until 10th grade."
“Oh, yeah, right it’s like you’re lowkey a scientistor anything.”
Yesim chuckled. "Still, anyone can be anything if they focus hard enough."
“Sure, but you have to have a base level competence.” She countered
"Which is what you would have if you focused." She replied.
“Alright,” Teya said with doubt. “If you say so, but I still think you are definitely smarter than me.”
"You're also smart." Yesim replied.
Teya shrugged, “I used to be, but then everyone caught up with me and now I just catch on a little bit faster.”
"That's still good." Yesim replied.
“Thank you,” Teya gave a half hearted smile, attempting to hide her disbelief in Yesim’s statement, and ensure politeness.
Yesim smiled back, fiddling with her fingers for no reason in particular.
The waiter came by again, asking if the check was separate or together. Teya said, “Together,” glancing over at Yesim.
(Bro, that’s supposed to say separate.)
