"Everyone has different opinions about certain things or topics," Yesim replied, still looking a bit nervous.
"Everyone has different opinions about certain things or topics," Yesim replied, still looking a bit nervous.
“Well sure. But, like, this is a date.” She replied.
"I know." She mumbled, looking out the window.
“Okay.” Teya let the subject go. A few minutes later, they arrived at the restaurant. It was a slightly upscale place, but nothing too fancy. It was a good place for a date. Lots of differnet kinds of food for any taste. She hoped there was enough for the both of them to talk about. She got out and opened the door for Yesim.
Yesim thanked Teya as she walked in and looked around a bit awed, she had never gone to a fancy restaurant, or a restaurant in general since he almost always cooked her meals.
Teya walked in, checking to make sure Yesim was following. It wasn’t busy because it was a week night, so they were seated quickly. Teya flashed Yesim a smile, trying to help her feel more comfortable.
Yesim smiled back, nervously fiddling with her fingers under the table. She had never been on a date and she had no clue what to do.
Teya looked over the menu, deciding what to get. She noticed that Yesim seemed uncomfortable, but wasn’t sure how to help. She hoped that letting her ease in at her own pace would be the most helpful thing.
Yesim also looked over the menu, starting to relax just a bit. Why did she even want to go on a date with me? I'm not even pretty.

After the waiter came to take their drink order, Teya asked, “What are you getting?”
(Lol)
"I'll just get ravioli." Yesim answered, a smile on her face.
“Ooh, yeah, I bet that’s good. I was thinking about getting the chicken, but it comes with mushrooms, and I’m not a fan of mushrooms.” She replied.
"Then maybe you ask for the mushrooms to be removed?" Yesim suggested.
“Yeah, or I’ll just pick them out.” Teya thought out loud. “I don’t really wanna ask.”
Yesim nodded. "Okay then, fair enough."
The waiter took their orders. Teya didn’t say anything about the mushrooms.
Yesim moved some of the hair that had fallen into her face, looking around awkwardly.
“Do you have any hobbies?” Teya asked.
"Eh, not that many. Reading, drawing, photography and editing photos." Yesim answered.
Teya perked up, “Photography? That’s really cool!l
Yesim blushed a bit. "Oh, thank you…"
“What do you take pictures of?”
"A lot of random stuff."
Teya laughed, “Like what? Name one thing.”
