“No, it’s okay. Don’t feel bad. You don’t need to feel responsible for this.”
“No, it’s okay. Don’t feel bad. You don’t need to feel responsible for this.”
"Fine, if you ever are in a bad situation, you can ask me."
“Thank you. I’ll keep that in mind,” Teya smiled, their food arriving.
"Good." Yesim smiled back.
The waiter set their plates in front of them. Teya smiled as she looked at Yesim. She looked down at her food, thinking, then back up at Yesim, “What’s you’re favorite movie?”
"Umm, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. What about you?"
“Mine’s A League of Their Own,” she replied.
"That's cool." Yesim smiled at Teya.
“How’s your food?”
"It's good, what about yours?"
(Sorry. I thought I responded)
“It’s good,” she smiled. Her leg brushed up against Yesim’s on accident. No, really, it was an accident. She moved her leg back becuase she didn’t know if Yesim would be uncomfortable by that.
(It's fine)
Yesim's leg quickly retracted, her face turning a light pink again. "That's good."
“Yeah…” Teya felt the conversation taper, unable to think of another conversation topic. She took a few more bites of her food, and sip of her drink.
Yesim did the same, looking around the restaurant. This is so awkward.
“How about you just tell me a little bit about yourself,” Teya suggested.
"Well, what do you want to know about me?" Yesim asked.
Teya shrugged, “I dunno. Anything really.”
"Okay then. Umm, I'm an only child, I'm an orphan, I've never had a bloody nose, I've never broken a bone either."
“You’ve never had a bloody nose?” Teya asked, more surprised by that anything else listed.
"No…not really." Yesim answered.
“How? What’s your secret?” Teya joked
Yesim chuckled. "I use the blood of my enemies, which is why I also look beautiful." She said sarcastically.
“Badass,” Teya smirked.
Yesim flipped her hair. "Thank you very much." She said with a slight laugh.
“I’ve never broken anything before. I try not to do anything too stupid. But I have gotten my fair share of nosebleeds in my lifetime. Oh, but I knew this girl back in elementary school who got really bad nosebleed very frequently because she had extra blood vessels in her nose.”
