Nick smiled as Cas drifted off, Nick's arms around him. Maybe delaying their leaving time was worth it…
Cas woke again about half an hour later with a quiet groan of distaste. "Mmmm… what time is it?"
“No idea…but probably more than five minutes later,” Nick replied, blinking the sleep out of his eyes again. “We should get up now.”
Cas sighed and reluctantly sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Waking up is dumb…"
Nick chuckled. “Too bad you have to do it every morning,” he responded, waking up again already.
"I know, right?" Cas yawned and stretched, still very slow and sleepy. "Whenever I wake up, I just wanna go back to sleep…"
Nick smiled and shook his head softly. “Well, we can’t waste too much time sleeping or we’ll never find any pirates.”
He nodded a bit and swung his legs over the side of the bed, wincing. "What should we wear? I've still got my own princey shit around somewhere if we really want the pirates to know who we are."
“I think for today we should just look for the right people,” Nick suggested. “So we wear the princey shit tomorrow. Today we can just keep doing what we have been.”
Cas nodded and got up, popping his back with a grimace. "I'll probably steal one of your hooded somethings then. I gotta hide my hair somehow."
“Okay, works for me. Though we can always buy a hat, you know,” he added with a smile.
"I suppose so, but that wouldn't be any fun, would it?" He went into Nick's closet, looking for something to wear.
Nick chuckled lightly. "Whatever you say," he replied, getting up and washing his face.
"What would you prefer that I wear?" Cas asked, picking up a couple things.
Nick shrugged. “Whatever you want. Today what we wear isn’t too important.”
"Alright…" Cas pulled on a large hooded jacket with comfortable pants, turning to show Nick. "Acceptable?"
Nick nodded. “That’s good.” He smiled at Cat before sifting through his clothes himself.
Cas pulled his hood up and sat on the bed to wait for Nick, humming softly to himself.
Nick found a baggy shirt and pants, putting them quickly before turning to Cas. “Okay, let’s go.”
Cas nodded and carefully followed him out of the castle. "Where to first?"
“I was thinking maybe a pub or something? Where exactly does one look for pirates?” Nick wondered aloud.
"Pub sounds good, but I dunno if we'll be allowed in. We're not of age." Cas said pointedly.
“I’m tall, so maybe I could convince them?” Nick suggested, his argument quite weak. “I don’t exactly know where mercenaries and pirates tend to spend their free time.”
"I definitely couldn't convince them…" Cas sighed. "I look like I'm twelve. Maybe we could find people skulking about in shady alleys?"
Nick shrugged. “Perhaps. Or maybe in the back corners of the marketplace or the festival? Maybe in the fights? That always attracts strange people.”
