So. I found a prompt that I really like, and there's a thing I'd like to try. It might be chaos, or it might be a really amazing result.
So. I found a prompt that I really like, and there's a thing I'd like to try. It might be chaos, or it might be a really amazing result.
? I'm intrigued. Please explain????
Okay, so it's a very open ended prompt. I was thinking, what if each of us reads the prompt and builds their own story around it, and then we start the rp without telling each other anything about said stories, and you're basically writing your own story while I'm writing mine
Woah! That's sounds super fun! So what genres do you think we should do? I do need a certain one so i know which prompt to pick.
Well I have a prompt already, but if you want we could try just going for genre in common
So I was thinking victorian era fantasy
Hmmmm, uh could we do a different one? If not that's fine, I just won't do this and someone else could do this with you. I just….really don't like victorian era anything XD sorry!
No no that's fine! I'm glad you told me. Do you have any other preferences?
The only reason I said victorian was for an availability for royalty, so we don't have to base on an actual time period
Ooh okay! Could we do like a modern-day royalty? I love those!
That'd be new territory for me but I don't mind! We can try that
Nice! So i would need to find a prompt real quick if you don't mind! Though you could post a starter and we can just go from there.
Okay well I've got to figure out my own story first so go ahead and find your prompt and let me know when you do, and I'll post one then!
Okie dokie! Thank you!
Ofc :)
okay i found it! We can start now!
Clarification: fantasy is part of it, yes?
Also (sorry I should've asked earlier) by modern royalty you meant a queen Elizabeth type thing, right?
Um idk. I don't really care tho
Uhh okay then. I'll just post a starter
With the final nod of approval, Iris knew she'd succeeded. After many long years of hard work, the final test was finished. Nothing was going to stand in her way anymore.
She stood from the stone bench and turned to look at the towering statue watching over the courtyard. I did it. The statue seemed to sigh, but her mood would not be dampened.
Sitting up in the tree, back pressed against the trunk of the almost black tree, his black hair getting caught on the cracks and crevices of the bark. He had always loved nature, admiring its beauty for every second he gazed at it, but it had to be done. Quickly sitting up and pulling out his machete, a rustle in the leaves throwing him off a little. Though a deer jumping out of the brush, he threw the machete at the buck, stabbing it right in the temple at it turned it head, immediately falling down.
Coronation was now a month away. She'd prepare the last few things she needed and get to work with the King.
Mountbatton. Iris Mountbatton. That was her name to be, one that would grow thanks to her. It was hard not to feel important, really.
Stepping down to the ground from the tall oak tree, he walked up to the deer, breathing hard. It wasn't dead yet, so he did what he had to do.
He took its big soft head in his head, its dark brown eyes looking wide at him as he turned its neck abruptly, then setting it down once again.
Running his hand along with the bucks soft fur, then pulling the arrow out.
"Thank you"
He whispers to the deer as he stands up, simply walking away.
Taking a deep breath, Iris climbed a few of the stone steps leading up to the castle gates before turning to look out upon the sprawling forest that surrounded it. It truly was a beautiful sight, one she knew she'd never get bored of.
Climbing up the tree once again, with a few tricks up his sleeves, he reaches the very top of one of the highest trees. Looking up to the castle with a smile. Oh what he would do to just live a single day in that castle. Maybe even meet the princess while he's at it.
