Elijah looked down at his shoes. He nibbled in his lip. He felt shameful for nkt being able to do it. He couldn't stand the disappointed look in leos eyes

“Elijah… I need an answer, please.” He said softly, giving his hand a squeeze.
Elijah didnt respond, just stared at their shoes. He brought a hand up and wiped his eyes and nose
Leo held back another sigh, knowing he’d have to be patient. He wrapped his arms around Elijah’s neck and brought him in for another hug.
Elijah wrapped his arms around him after a minute. He relaxed slightly in Leo's arms
Leo just held him, not saying anything this time.
"Okay I'm ready." He whispered after a few minutes had passed
Leo nodded a little, pulling back from the hug, “Okay.”
Elijah leaned down and shyly kissed his lips
Leo kissed him back softly.
Elijah pulled away with a small smile. It fell as soon as he looked towards the car
“You can hold my hand while I drive if it’ll make you feel better…” Leo offered, hoping it would help a little.
Elijah just turned his head back to Leo and stared at him.
“I can’t help if you don’t talk to me.” Leo said, narrowing his eyes just a little.
Elijah returned his gaze to his shoes. "I don't think anything will make me feel better." He said barely audible
“Then… then I don’t know how to help…” Leo replied, sighing softly.
Elijah kissed his cheek. "I'll be okay." It was a lie, but he wanted to make Leo feel better.
Leo shook his head, “Please don’t lie to me, Elijah.”
"I'm not. Let's just…..get it over with." Elijah bit his lip again
Leo still didn’t believe him and it was obvious. He opened the door for Elijah then walked around to get in himself.
Elijah got in, though he dodnt want too. He shakes became visible
Leo become slightly tense, knowing this was going to go horribly wrong.
Elijah covered his ears again and closed his eyes. He tried remembering his home. The rolling hills, the breeze in his face as he rode his horse on a hunt.
Leo made sure to go through the backstreets where it was quieter and there wasn’t as much traffic. It took about ten minutes before they came to a stop.
Elijah was muttering incoherent words to himself. He kept thinking of his home. What his room smelled like, his mother's smile. He remembered the village and the other children he used to bully just because he could. He disnt notice when they stopped
