Elijah sat down in the car hesitantly. He curled up in the seat. Everything was too strange

Leo buckled Elijah up before he shut the door and heading to his side.

Elijah looked around confusingly. He closed his eyes amd covered hid ears

“I’m sorry, but it’s a twenty minute drive to the shop and it’ll take longer if we walk…” Leo said softly.

Elijah made a small whimper and curled up further in a ball

Leo bit his lip, worried but they had to drive.

Elijah muttered incoherent wordsas he rocked slightly

“Elijah I’m sorry but we have to drive…”

Elijah just whimpered. He wanted to get out. His hands went to the door, trying to figure out how to get out.

Luckily, Leo had locked the doors. Though he did pull over to the side of the road nd stopped the car, “Elijah, I need you to take some deep breaths, please.”

Elijah shook his head and he became more frantic trying to get out.

Leo grabbed his hand, “Look at me.”

Elijah shook his head, breathing heavily.

“Elijah, look. At. Me.” Leo said a little firmer, giving his hand a squeeze.

Elijah turned to him, eyes wide in fright. "I want out. I want out." He said over and iv3er again

Leo places a hand on his cheek, “Breath, babe. In,” he breathed in, “And out.”

Elijah shook his head. "Let me out!" He turned back to the door, yanking on the handle

Leo sighed, pulling away and unlocking the door.

Elijah tumbled out and stumbled away from the car

Leo climbed out a second later, standing a few feet away from Elijah.

Elijah sat down on the curb, his head between his legs. He started crying softly

“Elijah…” Leo sat down next to him, slowly and hesitantly, wrapping his arms around him.

Elijah collasped into his arms, burying his face in his neck as he started to sob

Leo soothed him gently, cradling his fingers though his hair and rubbing soft circles onto his back.

"I can't do this." Elijah cried and clutched into Leo tighter
