“You have to… you can do this, Eli…” Leo said softly.
“You have to… you can do this, Eli…” Leo said softly.
Elijah shook his head. "No I can't." He cried
“Stop saying you can’t. If you keep thinking like that then you really won’t be able to.”
Elijah shook hos head again as he cried harder. His body shook
Leo gently lifted Elijah’s head, shushing him softly. He gently kissed away every one of his tears.
Elijah's eyes were swollen and red from crying. His body shook violently. He leaned into leos touches
Leo ran a hand through his hair again, kissing him for a moment on the lips, “Now listen here, this is all strange and new to you. You’re scared, I get that but if you don’t learn and adapt then you’re never going to get used to this world. I’m going to be right here the entire time, okay? But you need to put in the effort to get used and at least try and not freak out as much.”
Elijah nodded and hid his face in Leo's neck again, holding on tightly. He didn't really cry anymore but his body was still shaking
Leo held him, continuing to gently run his fingers through his hair. The rational part of him knew that they needed to get going but they couldn't when Elijah was like this.
Over the course of a few minutes, he calmed down. He just held onto Leo tightly
“Can we try again, please? We need to get you a suit…”
Elijah tensed in his grasp. "I dont want to get back in." He mumbled
“We have too…” Leo replied, sighing softly.
Elijah's lip tremebled. "Leo…" He cried.
“Hey,” Leo kisses his forehead, cheeks, nose and then his lips, “I’m right here with you. It’s not going to hurt you, you’ll be fine.”
Elijah closed his eyes at the sensation. He but down on his lip hard enough to draw blood. "O-okay." He said shakily
“I’ll take the backstreets at first and go slow, okay?” Leo rested a hand on Elijah’s cheek.
Elijah nodded. He didnt want to go but he would anything as lond as he had Leo by his side.
Leo took Elijah's hand and stood, taking the taller male with him, "You'll be okay."
Elijah stood, his body begining to shake again. "O-okay."
"Hey hey," Leo gave him a smile, hoping to reassure him just a little, "I've done this a hundred times, it's safe, and I'm right here with you."
Elijah's lip just quivered. He wanted to go back home.
“We’ll be quick, I promise.” Leo said, opening the car door.
Elijah looked at the open door then back at Leo, tears threatening to spill
Leo sighed and shut the door, “How about we walk, then? If you really don’t want to get in the car?”
