“We’re here.” Leo muttered, climbing out the car.
“We’re here.” Leo muttered, climbing out the car.
Elijah looked up, tears staining his cheeks. He got out and wiped his face
Leo locked the car, looking to Elijah, “You sure you want to go to this event tonight?”
Elijah nodded. "I want to be there for you." He looked down at him.
“But… look how you reacted to a car, Elijah,” Leo rubbed at his face with both his hands, “I don’t think it’s a good idea..”
Elijah grabbed his hands. "Please? I want to be with you. I'll be good. I'll do better. I promise. Don't leave me, please." He pleaded
“I wouldn’t leave you,” Leo said, looking down at his feet, “I just don’t want you to freak out in front of so many people tonight. The press will be there and there’ll be cameras and flashing lights and reporters and…”
Elijah just blinked at him. "I don't understand anything you're saying." He said. "I want to be with you. I dont wamt to be left alone. I might set the house on fire if I do."
Leo chewed on his lower lip, “I… I know. I just don’t want you to freak out tonight..”
"As long as I have you I'll be okay. And we can leave if it's too much right?" Elijah asked, brightening a little bit
Leo nodded, “Of course. As long as I’m there for at least ten minutes…”
Elijah smiled at him. "See? It'll be fine then. We'll be fine."
Leo still didn’t look convinced but he nodded a little, “Okay…”
Elijah kissed his cheek quickly. "Lets go?" He nodded to the building
Leo nodded again, taking Elijah’s hand wordlessly and leading them into the building.
Elijah followed beside him. He gripped Leo's hand tightly
The shop was in an old building but still looked pretty eloquent and formal. Suits lined each side in different colours and styles. A man walked over and Leo quickly explained what they were looking for.
Elijah was quiet. He wondered away from Leo's side, walking around the shop
The part of the shop that Elijah had walked to, was filled with mainly black and white suits. There was a couple dark blue or red, though.
Elijah fingered some of the material. He walked away and went to another part of the shop
The other part had some more… revealing and causal suits, though still formal enough for a charity event. Right next to those, were shoes to math certain designs.
Elijah flicked them away. He didn't like the clothing people wore those days.
Leo tugged on the back of Elijah’s shirt, “Can you try a couple suits I found on?”
Elijah turned back to him. He sighed. "If I have too."
Leo bit his lip. He felt bad but Elijah had said he wanted to come. He walked towards where the suits were.
