"Nope. No way. You're villains, this is the exact thing I've been told not to do my entire life," Eris's curls bounced as she shook her head.
"Nope. No way. You're villains, this is the exact thing I've been told not to do my entire life," Eris's curls bounced as she shook her head.
"Let me put it this way: stay here and no one touches you, go out there, and someone jumps you and does worse than touch." Quinn said flatly.
Eris growled softly turning away for a moment to think. "Ok, fine, Princey. I'm not part of the 'gang,' to be clear."
Quinn smirked again. "Whatever you say." He replied.
Kiera watched the conversation unfold with growing annoyance. "Oh, back of 'em, Quinn," She sighed. "But to be honest, he's right. We're the best you've got. There's worse people out there."
Quinn grinned. "See?" He said, shifting slightly.
"Kiera is right, there are worst things. What'd you say your name was?" Jaxton asked, fingers tapping on his knee absentmindedly. "You're going to need some better clothes if you don't want to be targeted." He sai, crunching his nose at the clothes she was currently wearing.
"I didn't say what my name was, first of all, and second of all is it even possible for you to shut up?" She said annoyedly.
"Is it possible for you to shut your mouth and listen to the people that can help you?" Jaxton retorted, fingers still tapping.
"Maybe it would be if you'd stop asking stupid questions," she replied lightly.
"How is I asking your name stupid? I can call you goody-two-shoes pretty pink princess if you'd like. Though that would probably get you targeted more."
"Oh my gods, fine. My name's Eris. I swear to god, I will kill you if you call me goody-two-shoes pretty pink princess. I'm not even related to any royalty," she groaned.
Quinn chuckled. "You aren't,? Then stop acting like it."
Eris scowled. "I'll act however I want, thanks very much."
"Who are you related to then?" Jaxton smirked, his smile unnerving to most. He had taken out his tarot cards and was shuffiling them again.
"That's really not your business," she replied, tilting her head slightly.
"It may not be, but we are the ones helping you." Jaxton spread his cards. "Pick three."
Eris raised an eyebrow before taking 3 cards.
Jaxton looked at the cards, humming. "Interesting." He put the deck back into his pocket.
Eris crossed her arms. "Are you not going to tell me?"
"Nope. It's not any of your business." He tutted
Eris rolled her eyes. "Hilarious. Whatever, I don't need to know."
"But it's going to eat at you." Jxxton said knowningly, hand goin back to tapping.
Quinn chuckled softly, watching, but said nothing. He wasn't about to interfere with Jaxton's mumbo jumbo.
Eris scoffed. "No, it's not. I'm going to forget all of this in an hour."
