I'm working on one of my character's profiles and i somewhat accidentally did something SO CUTE with his character. I gave him a pet gerbil and had him name it after his first love that hes still in love with be he's like 50. kinda creepy and sad but still adorable. i'm considering giving him a reunion with his long lost love.
I AM !! I started on her character profile just now but i only have her looks down. i'm gonna give them a little reunion and she's gonna tag along with the other characters for a while. i'm so excited to write her :DD
Oh my gosh that's so cute. Do you have a name for her?
Her name's stasha rn but i'm thinking of changing it
Ohh that's a unique name- never heard that before!
So i wanted to write a kinda girl gang type story but i have nooo clue what it'll be about. I was thinking of maybe moving away from the whole "overthrow the unjust government" type of thing because i have a lot of project like that. any ideas?
I think i'm good. they've all kinda got their own thing already i think. maybe some suggestions for what a 50 something y/o man who was born in 2017 would listen to? and instrumental music?
Well, for starters, what generes does he like? Country? Rock/Classic Rock? Pop? R&B? Hip-Hop?
I think that I might have one-too-many projects…. I got numerous stories that are wips, the reference books that I'm transfering by hand to Google Docs (and making threads on here for them), redrawing a drawing that I did back in 2k8, other drawings that I've been meaning to do, and piecing together a chainmail shirt/tunic from pop can tabs.
Oooh i know how you feel, Sy. i used to give myself a full plate all the time, but i recently started prioritizing my projects and taking it one at a time.
It's likely due to me having an absurd amount of free-time.
does anyone wanna help me create a character ? She's a love interest for one of my wlw characters but i don't want her to be one demensional. All i have so far is the way she looks but i wanna figure out her personality and such but i can't decide what i wanna do :/
Maybe try to base her off of someone you know. Characters always seem more realistic if they have qualities that actual people have. You don't even have to base her off of a single person, she can be a Frankenstein of people's personalities.
I'm trying to develop a group of seven villains.
I got already:
An Honorable Leader (yes, really)
A Evil Strategist
A duo of Evil Kids
But now I'm lost about the other characters archetypes…
They're all androids by the way.

i think it really depends on the general motivation of them. do they know they're being bad and like it or do that think they're doing the right thing but it isn't?
but i still have some suggestions:
- A traitor, double agent type thing
- Someone who wants redemption and think they'll get it with this group (mostly fits if the group thinks they're doing the right thing
- A parasite kind of person, they'll do anything for anyone as long as they're guaranteed security and protection
- A matriarch, think mother gothel from Tangled
- A backstabber, kinda similar to the traitor, but they do it more unofficially. they'll befriend their enemies and be there for them, listen to their problems, and give them advice that'll work entirely in their favor and overall screws the enemy over
- The outcast that just wants to fit in somewhere, kind of like a mix of the parasite and the redemption
Sometimes it's also fun to merge some of them :)
[and i did reference some of these from a website. if you want more all you have to do is look up '16 villain archetypes' and it should be the first one]

That's a good suggestion ! But i think my main problem is figuring out what her personality is generally gonna be like in the first place. i also wanna figure out her style because i usually like to coordinate the 2. but once i figure those out, it should be pretty easy if i use your strategy :D
Hmm i also need a name for her. i'm hoping a name might help me out as well

This is awesome.
I already got a backstabber, but he's not part of the 7 androids. The Androids see each other as siblings, and respect each other. The parasite is the mother of the MC, she'll do anything to protect her son.
Yeah, they're all thinking they're doing the right thing working for their "master" (the true villain who is super evil). Matriarch… this is great! I already got a father figure (the Leader), a matriarch is just natural. But yeah, she'll be the type of person who thinks her "children" do no wrong (think a soccer mom).
that sounds great ! glad i could help :D

Thank you! But I still think my villains are still too nice, ahaha
I dunno. I want to make them all likeable, but I fear I'm making them anti-heroes instead of villains.
- A matriarch, think mother gothel from Tangled
Just gonna point out that a matriarch is the female head of a tribe or family.

We know. We're talking about Villains Archetypes. Not that Matriarchs are all evil. A Patriarch can be an evil archetype a well.
