Also I want to see gay parents. I feel like I don't see many at all, so I have amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) and her moms Lynn and Sharon in my WIP.
the book Love Blind by C. Desir and Jolene Betty Perry has a female MC who is going blind, trying to do this list of things before she goes blind, and has 2 gay moms, who to my knowledge (i havent finished the book yet) dont die. it's pretty good
it is kinda about being disabled but it's also about her learning to see herself outside of her blindness and stuff so…… yeah…… here ya go
I just want to see characters with both parents still alive in a story, regardless of their genders.
Well Percy Jackson’s parents are both alive, but one of them is a god (Poseidon). The other is pure amazing (Sally Jackson) and he has a stepdad (Paul Blofis)

Emmie and Josephine from Trials of Apollo with their adopted daughter Georgina

I promised my bro that if I had to take language it would be ASL since that's his first language.
I know a little bit, but not a ton.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know what it's like having 2 moms? When you ask a question, are you stuck in an endless loop of "go ask your mother?" What happens if you need one mom, but you all are in separate rooms? Do you call them by name? Do you have to say "not you, the other one" when the mom you don't need answers? Do they have the power to make minivans look cool? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS!

I mean, I have a mom and a dad but from what I know from books and stuff you wouldn't say 'Mom' and 'Mom', you'd say Mom and Mother, or Mum, or some other variant. Just like how if you know two Megans, one probably will go by Meg.
Minivans will never be cool. No Lesbian would drive one. LOL
Forget minivans, my mom drove us around in a massive, sketchy white van for years
Also something a Lesbian would never drive
When you're faced with the hassle of bringing 7 screaming children to Walmart, you don't get to have a preference on what car you're driving.
Unless you can afford a limo or something, but at that point why would you even be going to Walmart
Is. Your. Mom. A. Lesbian?
I was merely making a joke off of my previous comment in which I was talking about lesbians.
I know you were, and I was making a joke on how awful children are… I know because I had to babysit my siblings the other day and it was the worst of nightmares. And no, my mom is not a lesbian
Also something a Lesbian would never drive
Creepy white vans the the vehicle of middle-aged straight white men and nothing can convince me otherwise

That wear sunglasses are at absurdly sized and completely black and cargo pants

And sell fidget spinners to kids.
Now we know they are bad.

I too must know this lol.
I really want more stories where a main character doesn't stay perfectly unharmed until the Final BattleTM, but gets gradually beaten up during the story.

Well…Magnus Chase dies. Multiple times. In all three books. His least favorite was when his crush cut his head off with a garrote wire.
